We Are Getting A Watch_Dogs 'Sequel' Already…In eBook Form
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has announced an eBook sequel story to the events of Watch_Dogs slated to come out around the game's launch. Watch_Dogs is still about a month out from launch and there is already a talk about a sequel to the game's story. This isn't another quick turnaround for another game in the new franchise but an eBook titled Watch_Dogs //n/Dark Clouds. Kind of an interesting way to go about it there but it does fit into Ubisoft's want for all IPs to be able to have a franchise built around it. From what has been stated so far don't expect it to be just a continuation of the story in Watch_Dogs the game but a whole new story in the same universe written by John Shirley. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 09:01 PM ]
Facebook is set to purchase Oculus for around two billion dollars. What does this exactly mean though? It was announced yesterday that Facebook has reached an agreement to purchase Oculus VR, the makers of the Oculus Rift headset, for about two billion dollars. Not all in cash mind you. Only $400 million of that will be in "cash" the rest of the $1.6 billion in Facebook stock. That is all upfront as well as $300 million more is offered if Oculus VR can hit certain milestones that are still yet to be defined at the writing of this article. Read More...

10 Things You Ought To Know: The Sims Social
by Brian Bentley [ Monday, 31st of October 2011 - 10:04 PM ]
Love 'em or hate 'em, Facebook games are a part of today's general gaming landscape. They come in many shapes and sizes – requiring various amounts of your time and (the developers hope) money. It's hard to give a hard and fast review on Facebook games, which like any other Massively Multiplayer Online game, it is constantly evolving. In lieu of a review, I decided to pull out my 10 Things You Ought to Know-style article and take a look at The Sims Social. You’re going to ask a lot of your friends. Read More...

Battlefield 3 Battleblogs
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 19th of September 2011 - 06:11 PM ]
So in my travels around the land of the internet I've come across some pretty cool stuff in regards to Battlefield 3. If you head on over to their website they've been giving some pretty sweet updates via their "BattleBlog" such as some co-op campaign and Multiplayer details. So instead of being lazy and having you run over to the website yourselves, which you should do anyways, I'm going to do my job. Now I did not know about this "BattleBlog" until a couple days ago, so hopefully I'm not too far behind. Multiplayer Goodies! Read More...

Brave Arms: The Facebook FPS
by Kevin [ Friday, 5th of February 2010 - 10:57 PM ]
3G Studios just announced that they would be crafting a first person "social shooter" for Facebook, arguably the most popular social networking site on the net. It seemed like this was in the making, the idea of a Facebook as a platform for more robust content (i.e. something a little more in-depth than say Farmville or Mafia Wars). As more and more companies seek to establish a presence on sites like Facebook, like EA staking their claim for instance by picking up Playfish, this seemed like a natural progression. So what does 3G Studios have in mind? Read More...
