3G Studios just announced that they would be crafting a first person "social shooter" for Facebook, arguably the most popular social networking site on the net. It seemed like this was in the making, the idea of a Facebook as a platform for more robust content (i.e. something a little more in-depth than say Farmville or Mafia Wars). As more and more companies seek to establish a presence on sites like Facebook, like EA staking their claim for instance by picking up Playfish, this seemed like a natural progression.
