Uncharted 4 The final developer diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been released and it is more of a thank you to players as we head into Uncharted 4's official release Here we go with the final developer diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Just as the trip that Naughty Dog has taken us and we will get to experience on May 10th, it all has to come to an end at some point. This is that point at least for these "making of" videos and we get to see just how the franchise has affected the crew from the very first time we met Nathan Drake to the point where we see him in Uncharted 4. It has been one very epic journey and I know I am sad to see it go. Read More...

Nathan Is All Grown Up For Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Uncharted 4 The next dev diary for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been released and we get a good look at how the team and Nathan have grown into Uncharted 4 Last week we had a good look at how Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has evolved from the first title from so long ago. Of course that time does wonders not only on the game but also on the team over at Naughty Dog who have been working on the franchise for so long. They have aged and they have taken that "wisdom" into thought while crafting Uncharted 4 as we get to see how everyone in the game has aged as well. Such a roundabout way to get here but now we have the latest dev diary to spy on that covers just those themes. Read More...

How Far We Have Come In The Franchise With Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Uncharted In preparation for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End there is a new video series to prep us and this one goes back to Uncharted’s roots to show us how the game has evolved Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End may have been delayed until May 10th but that doesn't mean the hype train has stopped rolling. In fact it looks like the schedule is still on track as it was before the delay as Naughty Dog is bringing us more behind the scenes that would have ended just before the official launch of the game. Either that or PlayStation's video team was too eager to give us a look at everything going on behind the curtain for Uncharted 4 and just wanted to get the word out there ASAP. Read More...

NightCry Is Looking To Terrify Sometime This Spring
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
NightCry After a nice little alpha demo of NightCry it looks like the development team is prepping for a Spring release for NightCry on the PC Last year we were able to see that NightCry was funded and in the works from Nude Maker studios. There was a lot of rejoice as many, myself included, loved the Clock Tower games that this was game was going to be building off even if it wasn't a direct sequel. As Kickstarter campaigns go of course we were all updated with a few things during the time of success and now and if some of those backers had been keeping a close eye they would have seen a nice little alpha slice of NightCry to have been played all last month. It looks like things went well and the feedback that was given was helpful as it looks like the PC build of NightCry is now well on its way to release in the next few months. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/21/15 — 12/23/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of December 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another short week in video games but it was a bit hardier than we have had in Christmases past. Usually this time is filled with all kinds of fluff and filler for our precious video games but there were so many little tidbits revealed and shared for our video games that it was fruitful. Granted some were on the sad side like the Uncharted 4 delay but then there were others like the Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay and additions coming to Dying Light and Black Ops 3. We were even able to crank out a few of those promised reviews into the mix as well. Read More...

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Has Been Hit With A Few Delays
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of December 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Uncharted 4 It is being reported that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has now been met with delays pushing Uncharted 4's release date back over a month further The wait for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has now become a little bit longer as it has been hit with a bit of a delay. It looks like we won't be seeing the game on the PS4 until April 26th 2016 now instead of the original mid-March release date that Naughty Dog gave us a while back. Just over a month's worth of delay and the excuse, as usual, is that Uncharted 4 needs a bit more polish and tweaking to meet not only our expectations but that of the developer's as well. I guess it means something when they want to push back their magnum opus for the franchise just a tad bit further. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of December 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts 3 A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 has been released only this time it houses more Kingdom Hearts 3 combat so we can see how the game is progressing The promise was made by Square Enix that we would see some new gameplay for Kingdom Hearts 3 last week and it looks like we finally had it. It was a bit later than most expected but now we can see a bit more on how the game is being developed as well as how we are going to be teaming up without favorite Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters again in Kingdom Hearts 3. Although from the looks of this none of that has happened yet in Kingdom Hearts 3 for this footage as it is a very basic fight scene with lands and enemies we have seen time and time again in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Amplitude The release date for Amplitude has been revealed as well as the track list of the songs we will be destroying in Amplitude once said launch happens The wait for Amplitude is almost no more as it is official hitting the PS4 on January 5th for all to download and play. Harmonix has been working hard to bring this PS2 classic title back into the fold with a new version of the game and a lot of us are ready to get back in. Amplitude was one of those fun college dorm games I remember and fell in love with so there is no doubt that I am ready for it finally hit very early next year. Well next year for those who didn't help out with the Amplitude Kickstarter in a huge way… If you happened to be one of those backers for Amplitude that threw down at least $40 then your wait will be even less as you'll have access to the game on December 23rd.
