One of the big highlights of the PlayStation media showcase at E3 this year was the inclusion of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as it is with the franchise almost every year. While it may not have been the title from Naughty Dog that everyone was hoping to see more for, there needed to be something given that it is hitting the PS4 on August 22nd and such. That and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy looks to be another fun addition to the overall franchise and who wouldn't want to see more for it? If you thought "I wouldn't" then you can move right along as what we have here is even more for the game and more than what was shown publicly out at E3 this year.
Okay, maybe the publicly thing is a bit off given that it was technically shown to the public at E3 in the nice little setup that was on the floor for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. But that required you to have a pass to E3 this year and be lucky enough to get a reservation time to check it out during the multiple showings of the day. So, some of you may have seen this new video here, but for the rest of the gaming world it should be rather new to you all. It may look a bit similar to what was at the media showcase, but it is a bit more and different than there. Have a look for yourself and see what you could have stood in line to watch in one of the many theaters that was set up out there.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy — E3 Extended Gameplay
Watch extended gameplay for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy—a new adventure from acclaimed developer Naughty Dog coming August 22 to the PlayStation 4. In order to find an ancient Indian artifact, Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross must venture deep into the Western Ghats mountains, discover the lost cities of the Hoysala Empire, and face a ruthless warmonger, Asav.
I have yet to see it anywhere so I will say it. This new gameplay for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy feels a bit similar to what we've seen before for the franchise to me. Not just because it looks like the fourth main addition to the IP as it is an expansion of sorts, but I distinctly remember there being a chase scene for Nathan and crew were a heavily armored truck with a high-powered gun chases you around the map. Maybe because it is a staple of Naughty Dog's or something, but it felt a lot similar to Uncharted 4 and not just because of the expansion aspect. It looks great, but also looks like a game that I've already played and hope it is just how the demo was cut and played and not representative of the final game.
What did you think about the extended gameplay for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy that we had out of E3 here? Do you agree that it looks a lot like a scene we've already played before or am I just off my rocker as usual? Does it matter and you are down to play it all because of Chloe and Nadine here? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss away. For more on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy or any further installments to the franchise, be sure to stay right here. We'll have plenty more and you won't want to miss out on a single update for it all.
