Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with wrapping one more week in the world of video games with all kinds of cool things announced and shown off. Obviously, the biggest being the actual gameplay for Borderlands 3 and a nice, new look at The Sinking City during this week to get us all just a bit more excited for the game. Mix that all in with looks at video games the likes of Life Is Strange 2 and A Plague Tale, we had one more solid week for it all. I will not shake a dead skunk at it at all and just sit pretty knowing what we had. Read More...

Borderlands 3 Finally Shows Off Some Sweet, Sweet Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands The big gameplay reveal for Borderlands 3 has come and now we get to see just how Borderlands 3 could play with new updates and changes to the formula We finally have it. Some actual gameplay for Borderlands 3 and not all of the normal teasing that goes into the announcement and follow up videos we normally get with games like this. Gearbox could have gone that way, but instead hyped up and then delivered a whole lot of new gameplay for the game to show off the new look, characters, classes, and other features that will certainly get all of the Borderlands fans riled up. At least the ones that happened to miss out on the large event that took place earlier. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of April 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Borderlands A bit of new information for Borderlands 3’s vault hunters are detailed a bit more with some fun callbacks to other Borderlands titles We still have a bit of time before we get the reveal of the gameplay for Borderlands 3, but that does not mean we do not have much to go on or look at before then. Especially while everyone out there is scouring everything Gearbox has given us to have a better understanding of what to expect in the game. That is why I guess we have these new little blurbs and details for the vault hunters in Borderlands 3 that we will be able to play as. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/1/19 — 4/5/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of April 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you think that things may have slowed down for all of our video games, we are surprised and see a whole lot more out there. This seems like something we say almost every week, but it is worth it as there was a whole lot to unpack. More surprising is the fact that we did not have to wade through much for April Fool's Day even though the RAGE 2 DLC sounds like it. Thankfully, we had much more for Layers Of Fear 2, Man Of Medan, and World War Z to look at to keep us focused on real video games and nothing false floated out there. Read More...

Borderlands 3 Has A Confirmed Release Date & Fun Special Editions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands The release date for Borderlands 3 is now confirmed for this September and we have many ways to pre-order Borderlands 3 right now It looks like the early tweet "leak" for Borderlands 3’s release date was correct and we will be getting the game on September 13th. Why this was not announced last week when the game was announced at PAX East makes no sense to me but I am sure that 2K or Gearbox had their reasons. Maybe not. Now we can look to see Borderlands 3 on that date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games launcher. Read More...

Borderlands 3 Is Officially A Thing With This Announcement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands There were many Borderlands announcements out at PAX East with Borderlands 3 getting the official announcement treatment The rumors have been swirling for Borderlands 3 for a while now and out of PAX East this year, we have confirmation that it is indeed a game that is coming. It is not as if Gearbox would toy with everyone over this, get their hopes up, and then have them be crushed later on. It is not their way and even with the technical issues and teasing during the event, we finally have a solid look at Borderlands 3 with gameplay and the usual stuff that gets mixed into these games. That and the two villains that we will be facing off with as two villains seems to be the video game standard now. Read More...

Rumor Mill: Borderlands 3 May Get A Full Reveal At E3 & Release In September
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 27th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands A new video and bit of information for Borderlands 3 has popped up and it points to a reveal of Borderlands 3 this June and a possible release date Update Confirmed To Be Fake Despite seeming to be backed by convincing evidence, the Borderlands 3 leak has turned out as a fake. Last year, around this same time, Gearbox showed us a little bit of what could potentially be a Borderlands 3 game. It was a tech demo to show off the work the team has done with the engine they are working in and how far the visuals could be pushed; even with this art style. Read More...

E3 With E3 2017 about to hit us, I figured it would be high time to get my E3 wish list out there in hopes to see a few titles during the event The biggest gaming convention E3 is right around the corner and excitement is building towards the event. Starting June 13th E3 always brings the biggest announcements and surprises in the gaming industry. This is my wish list for the event of what I hope to see this year at E3, in no particular order. Borderlands At GDC, the devs behind Borderlands had a new tech demo shown off that housed some new techniques the next Borderlands may be using If you're a fan of Borderlands, and let's face it you most likely are as you sped in here, then you are in for a real treat here as we may have seen some of the technology that will bring that game to life. A New Borderlands Title Has Been Confirmed But Not Named
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands It was assumed that a new Borderlands was on its way but it has been confirmed that a new Borderlands is on the plate after Battleborn releases I was pretty certain that a new Borderlands was all but confirmed already as it has been such a well-received franchise but now we have a 100% confirmation that one is coming. At least it will be coming sometime after Gearbox has completed Battleborn and all of the DLC they have in the works for the title. But now all of you Borderlands fans can rest assured that we have another one coming at some point due to a nice little talk that happened at PAX East where the news and confirmation was put out there.
