A new CGI trailer for Alien Isolation has been released from Gamescom showing off the terror that Creative Assembly is aiming for There shouldn't be any mistake in knowing that Alien Isolation is being slated more to the horror and suspense side of the franchise than the pure action schlop we've been getting. I've played through a bit of the game at conventions past and while it is now Silent Hills teaser it is a down right suspenseful title. At least that is the case based on the little bit I have played for Alien Isolation but I am sure that SEGA and Creative Assembly want to instill that fear that the franchise had so long ago. So… Rise Of The Tomb Raider May Not Be An Xbox Exclusive Forever

In a recent interview Phil Spencer confirmed that the exclusivity deal for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has a time limit During the recent Microsoft press event at Gamescom it was claimed that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was going to be an exclusive for Xbox next year. This of course upset A LOT of gamers out there, like me, who fell in love with how Crystal Dynamics gave the franchise a re-boot. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was the first retail game I purchased for my PS4. Kano Has Been Fully Announced For Mortal Kombat X

It has now been fully announced that Kano will be gracing us in Mortal Kombat X with three hardcore fighting styles It was all but confirmed that Kano was coming to Mortal Kombat X last week via a German magazine sharing a few screens for the character. Now, as promised, Ed Boon has full announced Kano will be making a comeback to Mortal Kombat X even though he will be a bit older and relying on his cybernetics to not die right away. It really looks like NetherRealm is pushing that "in the future" aspect of the game doesn't it? So what do we get to look forward to for Kano in Mortal Kombat X? Read More...

A new trailer for Metro Redux from Deep Silver and 4A Games has been released showing off all of the updates and comparisons from the original titles Having had a chance to play both titles included in Metro Redux I can attest that both look and play amazing. They both look stunning and all of the minor issues I had with the original titles in terms of gameplay have been tweaked and fixed in this new edition. Rob Zombie's French Revolution Is The Best Telling Of Assassin's Creed Unity

Here is Rob Zombie's French Revolution based on the upcoming Assassin's Creed Unity from Ubisoft Just before SDCC we caught wind that Rob Zombie was going to do an animated film based on Assassin's Creed Unity and the French Revolution that take place in the game. I was a bit ecstatic but also a bit concerned given the fact that a lot of what I love about Rob Zombie's work in the past is something that I would think Ubisoft would be a bit hesitant to embrace. Especially when he gets teamed up with The Walking Dead's co-creator (Tony Moore) to illustrate what he does best; horrid gore and blood. 2K Games has announced that Evolve will now be releasing in 2015 instead of this October If you were lucky enough to get into the Evolve Alpha test over last weekend, consider yourself lucky. Looks Like We Are Getting Another HD Remake For Resident Evil

It has just been announced that we will be getting Resident Evil on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We're talking the original Resident Evil here Just in case you may have missed out on the original Resident Evil the umpteen times it has been given the HD remastered feel, we are getting a new version of the game for the PS3, PS4, XB1, 360, and PC. Pretty much all of the platforms that were left out when the latest Resident Evil HD remaster came out for the Wii and then some. None the less it looks like Capcom is going to try and get the franchise back up into swing again using the HD ploy for all of us old gamers who wanted the newer version and all of those younger gamers who may have missed out on this PS1 gem. A few new images for Mortal Kombat X have cropped up online and it looks like Kano is up next for reveal The internet can't keep anything sacred and fun for reveal and the latest Mortal Kombat X outing speaks directly to that. It looks like a few screen grabs from a German magazine have found their way from the editing room to the internet and it pretty much confirms Kano as a returning fighter to Mortal Kombat X. It sure looks like Kano and the brief description in the bottom corner looks to be all about his "Wrestling-Kano" fighting style. Unless this is an elaborate fake just in the build up to Gamescom. Near the end of last week Deep Silver and Occupant Entertainment announced that a Dead Island film adaptation is in the works Time to hear the resounding cheers and jeers for the announcement of a Dead Island film. Yes, it looks like we may be getting a film adaptation of Deep Silver's largest zombie themed game. The first Dead Island has sold over 8 million copies of the game to date so it seems like it would be a perfect time to rake in more dough on the franchise. SDCC Experience: Assassin's Creed Experience

I was able to unleash my inner assassin during Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Experience at SDCC 2014 We spoke about the Assassin's Creed Experience a few times before it was unleashed at SDCC last week. This would be the huge parkour course that they set up outside of Comic Con to allow fans of the franchise to see if they could handle the same stuff that Arno may need to do in Assassin's Creed Unity. It was gimmicky but it was also a blast to be able to run through. This isn't the first time that Ubisoft has brought something Assassin's Creed themed to Comic Con but it definitely was the most interactive. Read More...
