You Will Not Be Surviving Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Wrath We will be getting a blast from the past with Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin as we tackle the classic Quake Engine using modern day systems This one goes out to all of your retro gamers out there as we have a new one, Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin, coming at you in a way that you may fully enjoy. This would be a new FPS title from KillPixel heading to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One at some point all crafted with the original Quake engine from so long ago. Yes, it is a step back in the world of game development but it does look like Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin will hit all of those feelings that you are looking for. At least if you are down for some old classic style gameplay but in a more modern setting. Read More...

Asura's Wrath Demo Is Out Now
by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 13th of January 2012 - 03:19 PM ]
Have you guys tried the demo to Asura's Wrath yet? If not, what are you waiting for? This new IP from Cyber Connect 2 and Capcom features some of the most epic fights I've seen in my life thus far. The demo only features two levels early on in the game, but holy crap they are intense. The first boss fight pits you against a gigantic stone god that resembles a bit like Buddha; words are exchanged and a flood of quick time and button mashing events ensue that are sure to get your heart rate skyrocketing. After falcon-punching this god's face a few dozen times, he apparently activates his beast mode and jumps up into the sky. Next we encounter this boss, he has grown - a lot. Read More...

Review: Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of January 2012 - 02:17 AM ]
I'm not one for re-makes or "re-imagining" when it comes to video games. I think that it shows a lack of innovation in the industry when developers should really be pushing forward. It is how I feel and there won't be much changing of my mind in this area. So you could only imagine how I felt when I heard that Just Add Water was "upgrading" Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath to be a whole new HD version. Why "upgrade" instead of make something new for the developer? Now that I have that out of the way, just like when God Of War got the HD treatment, I see why they chose to do this six years later. Trailer Park (11/1/11)
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 1st of November 2011 - 10:39 PM ]
Alright it's time for the next installment to "Trailer Park". This time I have a few new trailers lined up for you guys. I hope you all enjoy. Our first trailer today is a new "grind house style" trailer for Grasshopper Manufacture's new game: Lollipop Chainsaw. The trailer features the cliché grind house voice over guy and a scantily clad cheerleader named "Juliet Starling" who just happens to be the main character. Lollipop Chainsaw follows Juliet and her family as they fight off hordes of mindless zombies in her high school. The horde of zombies are controlled by a group of "rock and roll" zombies. Capcom Taking A Shot At God Of War With Asura's Wrath?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of April 2011 - 08:43 PM ]
I get that by now it is hard to do an action game without getting the "It's Like [Insert Name]..." tagged to it, but Asura's Wrath seems to not care. Not care to the point where the basic story of the game is thus. Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. Sound REALLY close to the opening to God Of War II to me. Read More...

Bring On The Stranger's Wrath To Oddworld
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of September 2010 - 11:38 PM ]
Just about six years in the waiting, PlayStation owners will finally get their chance to play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Not only play it, but play it the way we are told it should have been played all along: with 720p graphics and PlayStation Move support. Just the way I expected to play the game back in 2005 when Oddworld Inhabitants brought it to market on the XBox. I loved Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. I would probably love a collector's edition like the God of War Collection of all of the Oddworld Inhabitants titles, but that is a dream I would assume is way off in the future. Read More...

WoW! Achievements!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of July 2008 - 10:06 PM ]
The Achievements Window Ok, so the title wasn't as awesome as I would have liked, but I'm running off no sleep from watching Dark Knight last night and working today. Hence why I haven't been my normal reporty self. But that's not what you clicked in for. It would seem that the rumors from before about achievements with the new expansion for World of Warcraft are true. There is a new achievement setup that is also coming with the Death Knights. Things like "50 Quests Completed" and making it to "Level 10" will get you some of the achievements for the game. Read More...

Cell Phones PWN WoW Expansion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of April 2008 - 03:28 PM ]
Wrath Of The Lich King Leaked Screens So I promised a friend on PWNed I would do a Narticle about the new WoW Expansion. I was looking for more than just some information and then I check my inbox and find these little gems. A bunch of screen shots from the Alpha test of the new expansion. They have been confirmed by the site listed below, so it should be pretty solid. Just kind of wish I knew what I was looking at when they popped up. There are no descriptions to go with them.
