Adrift New gameplay for Adrift has made its way online and it shows off a bit of gameplay and what it feels like in Adrift to run out of oxygen I believe this is the first time we have brought the first-person, interactive fiction game of Adrift up on the site before but that doesn't mean it hasn't been on our radar since it was first announced by Three One Zero. For those who don't know what Adrift is, outside of the genre description before, it is a story game that has us in space experiencing what it may be like for those who want to be up there. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been one of "those" weeks in video games hasn't it? I personally blame it all on the releases of the current video games and the news of other major video games like Friday The 13th and Styx that keeps all of the other news as fluff and filler instead of anything solid. Resident Evil A new CGI feature film for the Resident Evil has been slated for a 2017 release to make sure we are all inundated in Resident Evil lore All because we didn't ask for it directly it looks like we are getting another Resident Evil film. Another one that isn't part of the live action films and of the CGI persuasion as Capcom has given us in the years past. This animated film goes above and beyond that part of the Resident Evil franchise and will be the third of its kind in this aspect. Tales From The Borderlands The season finale trailer for Tales From The Borderlands has been released with all of the accolades and sneak peeks at Tales From The Borderlands' last episode in the season As with all good things like Tales From The Borderlands' first season, they have to come to an end at some point. Overwatch The Overwatch closed beta has now been dated and the process that players will be able to help shape Overwatch has been detailed out a bit more We've seen all the heroes and villains of Overwatch in action and now it is time to play them and help tweak them with the announced beta for the game. There had been no date set by Blizzard for said beta up until now. Black Ops 3 A new cybercore trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 shows off the new abilities we will be getting in the Martial tree for Black Ops 3 Here we go with another branch of the Cybercore abilities for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and this time the focus is on the Martial branch. This would be the new melee or general attacking abilities that Treyarch has set up for Black Ops 3 from the looks of it as almost all of them are linked into that and whatever armor/exo suit you may be wearing. Friday The 13th Friday The 13th: The Game has been officially announced and is looking to bring all of the Friday The 13th fun into video games with a 1v7 multiplayer game You may or may not remember the news back in January of this year about there being a Friday The 13th game in the works. It got slyly announced a bit and also shared many of the same qualities for another titled called Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp. Black Ops 3 A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's zombie mode has been released and it gives us all a little more into the dark pasts of these new characters for the Black Ops 3 mode With each new bit for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's new Zombie mode it is still a bit jarring to me to see that the mode is not fully following the same path as all of the other iterations of it. Each before Black Ops 3 was generally set in the era of the core campaign or the core multiplayer area for the game. Treyarch doesn't look to be doing that here as, well as we've seen before, Black Ops 3's zombies will be set in the past of sorts and not in the future-ish setting that we already know is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC here on November 6th. Just Cause 3 A new gameplay trailer for Just Cause 3 has been released showing just how serious, or not-so-serious, the missions in Just Cause 3 will be Serious may not be the correct word to use here for Just Cause 3 as nothing I have ever seen says that we should take the events of the game as anything but good, old fashioned fun. Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Tales From The Borderlands The final episode for Tales From The Borderlands has been dated and the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands has been made free for all The time has come and that time is to bring us the end of the first season of Tales From The Borderlands. It's been one hell of a ride through the story driven world that Gearbox and Telltale Games have set up for us but it looks like the end is nigh. The final episode for Tales From The Borderlands will be hitting us on October 20th and we will be lost for a while as we wait for the second season, hopefully, to be announced and on its way. If only all good things didn't have to come to an end and Tales From The Borderlands was just an ongoing series with no limited number of episodes… Along with the announcement of Tales From The Borderlands' fifth and final episode for season one also comes a new trailer and the announcement that the first episode of the season is completely free for everyone to enjoy no matter the platform.
