by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of July 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag yet again. All with another all over the place kind of feel to it, but at least we were not all just sitting around wondering what is going on with a lot of our games and twiddling our thumbs. Not that we wouldn't have been out there playing with Sub Zero in Injustice 2 or getting ready for the next Mafia 3 expansion. Even if those where not on your list of video games to play, there is all kind of things to get ready for as we head toward SDCC and have many things for Call Of Duty: WWII to look for as well as Shadow Of War to prep for. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Evil Within 2 New screenshots for The Evil Within 2 have been shared out there and it shows even more of The Evil Within 2's horror we'll be seeing You wanted more The Evil Within 2 and now we have more. Not in the weird GIF video format that we had before when Bethesda was trying to show some off, but in the form of a few new screenshots that they have been dishing out there to show us the horrors that Tango Gameworks has prepared for us for October 13th when we get to dive back into this horror filled universe. Yes, it isn't much in the way of actual gameplay to be enjoyed, but it is another look at things so we can further see how The Evil Within 2 will look and feel. They sure seem to like to give us just these kinds of updates recently and not much more huh? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Lone Echo A new trailer for Lone Echo has dropped to get us all ready for the release of Lone Echo and its multiplayer side of Echo Arena Hopefully you've taken advantage of the many great deals going on for the Oculus Rift as it looks like we have another great tittle to add into the mix with Lone Echo getting its exclusive release on the system on July 20th. This would be the latest title from Ready At Dawn that will place us all in the virtual space of…well…space as we take on the role of an astronaut's companion after some mishap takes place. By companion I'm talking a robot with our intelligence who is able to handle all the harshness that Lone Echo has to offer in way of problem solving to keep our captain alive and us still functioning. Call Of Duty: WWII & Destiny 2 Are Hitting SDCC Hard
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty Activision is bringing Call Of Duty: WWII, Crash Bandicoot, & Destiny 2 to SDCC with Call Of Duty: WWII Zombies getting shown off We are a week out from SDCC this year and as usual Activision is bringing a whole slew of things to show off with Call Of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2 being on the bill for this year's geekfeast. It makes perfect sense as they have done this almost every year for quite some time even when there are only small announcements and expansions for other games and then the buildup for their big money maker of the year. I guess that is why there is going to be a big announcement for Call Of Duty: WWII out there as the new Nazi Zombie mode is going to be the highlight of it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/3/17 — 7/7/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of July 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That ends another week in video games out here and even with the slowdown due to the American holiday, it was still a pretty decent one out there. Not overflowing with news and updates, but still just enough out there to keep things flowing. I mean it was more about the updates for Horizon Zero Dawn and Shadow Of Mordor, but other video games like Assassin’s Creed Origins had quite a bit of highlight and we learned about the physical version of LawBreakers that hopefully you picked up on the PC or are waiting for the PS4 version to open up. Like I said, not too heavy and not too light at the end of the week. Read More...

Evil Genius 2 Has Finally Been Announced & Development Started
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Evil Genius 2 It looks like Evil Genius 2 has finally been announced recently as the development for Evil Genius 2 has only just begun again Since yesterday, the 4th, was all about the random explosions and setting things on fire in the U.S., you might have missed a few things in the mix out there like Evil Genius 2 getting an announcement and having already been in development for a few months now. Maybe this was the evil plan of Rebellion the whole time as a slap back to the U.S. Read More...

The Evil Within 2 Has Some “New & Exclusive” Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Evil Within 2 Some new gameplay for The Evil Within 2 has just been released and it is what was shown for The Evil Within 2 at E3 this year Now that we've had The Evil Within 2 announced for a bit, let's talk about the lack of any real extended gameplay to look at for the game. It is supposed to release here on October 13th this year so for the most part Tango Gameworks should be close to having it all completed and should have something more than the little bit we've already seen out there. At least we'd like to think that way. Maybe Bethesda is just holding back on releasing any of The Evil Within 2's footage to keep the fear factor a bit higher and the suspense drawn out. Read More...

Some Magnum Sized Gameplay Is Coming With Agents Of Mayhem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Agents Of Mayhem Another gameplay trailer for Agents Of Mayhem is here and as the other trailers for Agents Of Mayhem, this one rips on another '80s icon Get ready for more of that nostalgia to get tickled here as we have another gameplay trailer for Agents Of Mayhem and just like others in the past, it is all in the theme of another '80s TV franchise to tug at you. Even though the game isn't set in that time-frame, from what I can tell, it sure does seem like Deep Silver wants to keep pumping out those trailers in that manner. Maybe I am not on the 'hip' side of things anymore, but growing up in the '80s it is going to take a lot more than this to sell me on Agents Of Mayhem. Read More...

Code Vein Has Some New Gameplay Out Of This Year's Anime Expo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Code Vein If you wanted more gameplay for Code Vein, then you'll be happy to know that Code Vein just received a bit more fresh from this year's Anime Expo Not long ago we had the announcement of Code Vein to be heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. It flew under a whole lot of radars out there, including ours, but now that the Anime Expo has kicked off and just about to wrap for this year, it looks like Bandai Namco took the opportunity to show off a bit more gameplay for the game out there. It makes sense as Code Vein is being labeled an Anime version of a Dark Souls title. The gameplay sure highlights that as well as the basic art and story that has already been seen since the first announcement. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/26/17 — 6/30/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week done and one more week of video games in the bag and ready for us to move on to the next one. It is obvious that we are still all recovering from the madness that was E3 only a few weeks ago, but that didn't stop the flow of things at all. We had a lot of DLC and updates out there for Final Fantasy XV and Call Of Duty out there and the launch of a few other video games this week like Secret World Legends. That is also if we seem to have forgotten that Nintendo broke the minds of gamers out there by announcing the SNES Classic Edition to come to us all in only a few months from now. Read More...

Absolution Is Coming To Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The third DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be hitting the PS4 next week with all the usual Call Of Duty goodies mixed right in Not get all of the Call Of Duty titles all mixed up here, but the third major DLC for Infinite Warfare is about to drop on the PS4 so it is time to take note and not confuse this with any future DLC. None of that makes sense to me either. The takeaway here is that the most recent Call Of Duty title that Infinity Ward made for us last year will be getting its third major DLC drop as part of the Season Pass so get ready to dive into that and forget about the WWII one that Activision is also pushing at the same time.
