Evil Within 2 Rumors have started that The Evil Within 2 is in development based on a recent job posting for Q/A to work on The Evil Within 2 or Psycho Break 2 in Japan The rumor mill is churning as it looks like hints that The Evil Within 2, or Psycho Break 2 if you wish, is currently in development and at the point where they are looking for QA people. At least this is all to be believed from a recent, unconfirmed, private job listing over there for Tango Gameworks that has found its way online and then screen captured for all to see. The bigger thing giving this new rumor for The Evil Within 2 much of its merit currently is that Bethesda has already teased some big titles for the year and that Tango has claimed it wanted to make this a franchise and not just a one-off title. The Surge The final release date for The Surge has been set and with it we have another fun CG video for The Surge to celebrate and get us amped up even more It looks like today is the day that we change The Surge's May release date into a solid May 16th release date as it has now been set for us. This was about when I figured that Deck 13 would be looking to release the game, but now it is confirmed and those waiting to give it a good play can now try to shuffle their schedules around to fit it in. There are already a few other great titles listed as launching on the same day, but all in different gameplay styles than The Surge so now you will have options and yet another title to put in when you need to break up the flow or monotony of the others out there. Injustice 2 We have some new information on Injustice 2's Source Crystals and what they do as well as a good look at Injustice 2's version of Firestorm now We are back again with more Injustice 2 new and updates and while this isn't anything in lines with a new character reveal, we do have a new look at just how character customization and Source Crystals will work in the game. Prey Have a look at three of Prey's Typhon aliens in action along with how they may function in Prey and how we will be able to handle them in the long run We've seen them a bit already in Prey but now it looks like it is time to have a better breakdown of the alien creatures, known as Typhon, for the game. Well, at least three of them for now even though we see four in the list, but maybe that was just Arkane Studios suggesting that one is really just the "cocoon" of sorts to build to the others. System Shock 3 A new publisher has joined to help System Shock 3 finally come to fruition after System Shock 3 was first confirmed back in 2015 with little else Maybe you remember back in December of 2015 when we finally had word that System Shock 3 was officially in the works or maybe you don't. The Walking Dead We have our first look at The Walking Dead: A New Frontier episode three and it looks like The Walking Dead universe is kicking the game up a notch It has taken a bit longer than I thought, but it looks like we finally have our first taste of episode three for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. I know I was hoping for it to come shortly after last month's physical release but it looks like we still have a bit to wait as it will be hitting us on March 28th for now. Prey Another long bit of gameplay for Prey has been released but this time we get to see some of Prey's alien abilities mixed into it all Hopefully you are ready for a whole lot of new gameplay for Prey as that is what we have here for us all to digest. Well, some of it is new as the first bit is filled with the gameplay that Arkane Studios has already shown us all before, but thankfully there is a bit more than we've had before. There is still more to see for Prey before May 5th of course, but given that Bethesda was out at the con to show it all off, the amount still in hiding has been dwindled a little more. Injustice 2 Another new character for Injustice 2 has been announced and it looks like Firestorm will be joining in on the Injustice 2 fight at launch now Another week and yet another Injustice 2 character getting announced and added into the fight. This time we have Firestorm getting the confirmation and shown off here. Mark another off the "leaked" list of characters that NetherRealm Studios is bringing to us in Injustice 2 here on May 16th. Friday The 13th During PAX East, Friday The 13th: The Game had not only a new trailer drop but also a brand new Jason for the Friday The 13th franchise to carry on I hope you are ready for a huge dump of visuals and gore for Friday The 13th: The Game as it looks like we have a plethora of it here fresh from PAX East. As has been the case for some time, Gun Media brought a whole lot more to the convention as we all still wait for that Early 2017 release date to finally come so we can start killing everyone on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more grueling week of video games in the bag here and it was yet another one filled with all kinds of fun. We had some of the aftermath of GDC to still filter through here as well as the start of PAX East and soon SXSW. Those are just the conventions for all these video games at that as we also saw a whole lot for Injustice 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda flow out here this week. The Crow's Eye New gameplay for The Crow's Eye is here and it looks like the release date has been set for The Crow's Eye as well in a few weeks Earlier in the year here we were treated with a nice little tease for a game called The Crow's Eye. It looked to be an interesting psychological puzzle style game that 3D2 Entertainment was going to test our brains and sanity with and then there wasn't much more of a word from it since. I know it piqued my interest when I saw it and was eagerly waiting to see some solid gameplay and possibly a date to look out for when it would hit my PC. As it turns out though, it looks like both have been answered here as The Crow's Eye will be launching on March 20th here and we also have some solid gameplay to look at and see if it will hold up to the speculations. Guardians Of The Galaxy New screenshots for Guardians Of The Galaxy have been placed out there with word on when we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy in action before launch We've all been waiting for something to come out officially for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy title that Telltale Games is working on but since its originally announcement back in December all we've had have been rumors and speculation. Things like the "leak" that we may see the first episode at least before the end of April, the 25th is still the date in rumor, as well as very little on what the game's story will actually revolve around. Given that Marvel has made it clear that their video games don't need to follow the Film and TV franchise continuity if they don't want to, this version of the Guardians Of The Galaxy is rather up in the air and still fraught with mystery. Injustice 2 The second part of Injustice 2's Shattered Alliances trailer has been released and we get more heroes added to Injustice 2's roster with a few more glimpses Not too long ago we had a chance to see part one of the main Injustice 2 story that we will be fighting along in. It looked amazing and focused a lot more on the Superman side of the story but now we get to see just how the other half of the fight is living and fighting back as NetherRealm Studios has brought us the second part of it all. Not only that but it looks like we have a few new confirmed fighters for Injustice 2 and if you look hard enough you can see that there are a few others in the background. Hellblade The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has released and this one focuses on the myths of Hellblade's world as well as Senua's madness Another new developer diary for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been placed out there to give us all an update on how far along Ninja Theory has made it for the game. It looks like they have already officially hit the Alpha stage for the game and is currently playable from start to finish. Injustice 2 Another new character for Injustice 2 has been revealed as well as a little more on Injustice 2's gear system out of GDC 2017 Here we go with yet another heavily requested character joining the ranks of Injustice 2 as now it is official that Dr. Fate will be part of the fight. So many gamers wanted to see him back in the first Injustice but it looks like NetherRealm Studios held on to him and now has finally brought the character in. It's not like the franchise was lacking in the magical characters but here we go with one of DC's most powerful ones being tapped in.
