So everyone has been reading since E3 that Sony has no plans for a price drop. Activision's CEO, Bobby Kotick, laid down the hammer on Sony last week encouraging that Sony needs to consider dropping the price on the PS3 or else they could see a full-stop on Activision games for the PS3. Bethesda Software announced this morning via a press release on their website, that they will be publishing WET for the 360 and PS3. This 3rd person action title from Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M) has finally found its home after a long struggle since its release from Activision. It is being developed for both the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3 and slated for a release this Fall of 2009."We're very excited about the opportunity to bring WET to all gamers," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. According to a post on the official PlayStation Blog this past Wednesday, Sony has announced a new firmware update for the PlayStation 3. According to Eric Lempel Director of PlayStation Network Operations, v. 2.70’s new features will include a new Text Chat feature that will allow you to chat online with up to 15 friends as well as be able to chat in up to 3 rooms with friends. According to the blog, the new feature will be compatible with the PlayStation Wireless Keypad, on-screen keyboard, and other keyboard peripherals compatible with the console. Every now and again, I'll look for a title that may have fallen through the cracks or that I know is new to some and familiar to others. More often than not it'll be a title that either caused my head to implode or really seemed to fall below the radar.Noby Noby Boy is a little title for the PS3 by Keita Takahashi, the creator of the Katamari Damacy series. I picked up solely on that premise alone - becuase of the inventiveness of the original and the expectation of something just as entertaining. That being said, I'm not sure what this game is. In 2007, ThatGameCompany released their first game for the PS3. The game entitled Flow, was a vastly enhanced remake of the original award-winning flash game that had been released for Windows and Mac. Now they’re set for their second PS3 release with Flower, a game that is a successor of sorts to Flow. Finally Sony puts out a good Classic PS1 game onto the Playstation Store. As of Monday, December 12th, you can now download the classic J-RPG, Suikoden. Suikoden is a standout title that all J-RPG fans must play. Now it's readily available for PS3 owners, and if you have a PSP as well, you can freely transfer the game to your PSP for play on the go.  Suikoden 1 is rare title that you would have to pay from $40 to $75 depending on the condition and if it is complete or not.
