The Last Of Us Is Not Leaving Behind The DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of November 2013 - 07:08 PM ]
A New Story DLC Pack Has Been Announced For The Last Of Us Titled Left Behind. Check Out The Trailer If you have not played The Last Of Us yet or at least made it about half way through I would recommend not reading much more or even watching the clip below as it does link up to one of my favorite parts of Ellie's past. That part being where she talks about how she survived with her friend only to have her friend get infected and forcing Ellie to go solo. While there isn't much detail on what we will be getting in this new DLC I think with what is shown below we can assume it has much to do with this part of her past. Read More...

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Give You A Case Of Déjà Vu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of November 2013 - 11:28 PM ]
There Are A Couple Of New Trailers Out For Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. They Showcase Some New Gameplay And The Déjà Vu Mode I don't know if you want to take this as good news for PlayStation owners or not but it looks like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is going to have a mode just for them. This mode is simply called Déjà Vu and from the looks of it, it is a mode that allows you to replay missions in Metal Gear Solid V using the original skins from the PS One days. Exciting stuff to say the least. Read More...

by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 18th of November 2013 - 06:16 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This Is The Second Part Where We Cover The Multiplayer Of The Game The new Call Of Duty is here and it’s that time again for players to put many hours into the games' multiplayer. This time it's Infinity Ward up to bat with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This is part two of our Call Of Duty: Ghosts review and you can check out our Campaign review here. Hated The annual Call Of Duty games are usually pretty solid but Ghosts' multiplayer has some glaring issues that can’t be ignored. Perhaps the biggest issue is the spawning. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This Is The First Part Where We Cover The Campaign Mode And Story Of The Game It's that time of year again. Time for another Call Of Duty to hit shelves and this time it is with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. There have been a load of upgrades and a new engine since last year's Black Ops II. Most of you may know that there are multiple updates to the multiplayer mode to boot. This review will not be covering those at this time as I focused mainly on the campaign mode. Read More...

Review: WWE 2K14
by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 5th of November 2013 - 11:27 PM ]
We Review WWE 2K14. Does It Live Up To Its Predecessors? After THQ closed down many wondered what would happen to the annual WWE franchise but thanks to 2K games we are here with WWE 2K14. WWE 2k14 holds a great number of improvements over its predecessor and makes an upgrade well worth the cash. Hated There were not many things that I hated about WWE 2K14 as the annual entries are always pretty solid. My only gripe was the games commentary. More than half of the commentary for this game seems to be taken from previous entries or said in a slightly different way. Read More...

Dracula Is Getting His Vengeance On In The New Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of November 2013 - 08:02 PM ]
Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Gets A News Trailer Showcasing Dracula's Rage, Regrets, And Alucard Officially We are mere months away from the launch of Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 and after having my grubby hands all over it earlier this year I can't wait. As the title mentions here, we have another trailer that just ramped up the excitement to continue this amazing reboot to the franchise. Looks like we are getting all of our old favorites like Zobek and Carmilla, as if we didn't know, thrown into the mix. The most interesting part is the addition of Trevor Belmont from Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate into the mix. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of October 2013 - 09:05 PM ]
There Is Some New Gameplay Footage For South Park The Stick Of Truth But It Also Comes With Another Delay Well isn't this some good news and bad news. The good news is that South Park The Stick Of Truth has seven minutes of new gameplay, I'll discuss here in a bit. The bad news, the game is delayed again and this time it won't be until next year. March 4th 2014 to be exact. Yet another delay from an Ubisoft title, but at least this one is just being published by Ubisoft and not developed by. Read More...

Clementine Looks All Grown Up For The Walking Dead Season 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of October 2013 - 10:21 PM ]
The Walking Dead Season 2 Gets Its First Trailer We've all probably played through Telltale's The Walking Dead at least three times now. That is the minimum I have heard from most of my associates any ways. One of the burning questions since the story came to its conclusion has been 'when is season 2 coming out?' Well, we still don't know but it has to be close now as we finally got something out of Telltale. It's a teaser more than anything, but if you glance below you can see the official reveal trailer for The Walking Dead's second season. Read More...

Just In Time For Halloween Comes A Couple New The Evil Within Visuals
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of October 2013 - 10:23 PM ]
The Evil Within is being seen as the next big thing in the horror genre for video games. It would make perfect sense that they would have something out in time for the holiday all about horror and fear; Halloween. They already do have the Boxman cosplay contest going on but that really isn't showing us anything for the game or horror related. I guess it's good that we have a few new screen shots and concepts. Oh, we only get three 'new' visuals. Read More...

Kingdom Hearts III Has A New Trailer From The D23 Expo Japan
by Kenton Winkfield [ Monday, 28th of October 2013 - 04:15 PM ]
While we all sit around waiting for any news we can get about Kingdom Hearts III, Japan gets their glimpses first. During the first annual D23 Expo Japan a gameplay trailer was released filled with all new content that is coming to Kingdom Hearts III. But first, for those who don't already know, D23 is the official Disney Fan Club. It is named after 1923, which was the year Walt Disney first arrived in Hollywood and created the Disney Company. The D23 Expo stands to showcase and inform the Disney fans of upcoming changes to the Disney universe, whether those changes relate to theme parks, movies, or video games. Read More...

Review: Skylanders: Swap Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of October 2013 - 05:44 PM ]
It's time for the third installment of the Skylander franchise with Skylanders Swap Force. With it comes a new story, new levels, and new toys to be collected and used. Not to mention that these new toys also have a new mechanic both in the real world and in the game world. That being the ability to trade half of one toy with another and mix and match their powers and look. This is my first foray into the Skylanders franchise so let's see how well it went and if it is worth your time and money to invest in the franchise at this point in the game. The Story Kaos, the main villain who should just really be Invader Zim, is up to his evil plans again. Read More...

They Got Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag In My Epic Rap Battles Of History
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of October 2013 - 10:33 PM ]
With Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag less than a week away from launch it's high time that the advertising and promotion trains get a rolling. Not that they haven't already with all the 'parkour' and free running videos abound as well as armor/weapon smithing of the in game items. Pretty much you don't need to look too far to find some kind of AC4 promotion. This brings me to the topic at hand. If you have been living without the internet for the last few years you may not be knowledgeable of the comedic we phenomenon of Epic Rap Battles Of History. Read More...

Review: The Wolf Among Us - Episode One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of October 2013 - 06:49 PM ]
Just as with Telltale's last blockbuster title, The Walking Dead, we have another new 'point and click' storytelling adventure with The Wolf Among Us. It also looks like they have found a winning combination and Telltale is going to try and capitalize on it. The real question is: Can they do it again? Well, I'll be breaking it down as the new episodes release so keep an eye out. Also, if it sounds like I am being ambiguous in my phrasing that is due to me not trying to spoil the story.
