A New Local Tale Is Told For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil There is more to see for Resident Evil Village as we see how things have progressed for everyone since Resident Evil 7 We have a new trailer to look at for Resident Evil Village to look at here, and it looks to offer up just a little more on what is going on in the game. Granted, not much more as there is a lot of the same snow-covered ground and shots of said village to look at, but it is more and we will take it. Even if it would be nice to have a nice slice of gameplay from Capcom from a working version to help show off the new monsters we are getting in this run. They are not the normal zombies that Resident Evil offers up and not werewolves that were rumored for so long. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is here along with some other interesting tidbits for this Spider-Man outing As was to be expected during the big PS5 reveal, we have a whole lot of new gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales before it lands on November 12th with the new console. That is not to say that it was not spectacular to look at, but just as we expected over here from Insomniac Games which did not disappoint. Before we dig into that, though, it looks like there is a bit more to all of this too as Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on the PS4 as well and there will be an Ultimate Launch edition of the game that will house the last title in the line all upgraded for the new console and with all the DLC mixed in. Star Wars: Squadrons Shows How The War Has Never Ended
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new cinematic trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons give us a feel for how these dogfights might feel in this slice of Star Wars The war is still on in Star Wars: Squadrons and we have a little more proof of it all with the latest video we have today. A nice new look at how some of the dogfights will flow in our minds and not truly in the gameplay of it all. Not that Motive Studios is not going to be making it as fun as possible, but there will be a lot missed in the mix of it all given how games usually go. That all said, we do get a new slice of the Star Wars fun here with how things can feel in it all. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest Tries To Offer Up The Tabletop Freedom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Werewolf The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest explains how close to the Werewolf tabletop experience we might get Balancing the freedom of choice in Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is going to be a huge task to tackle based on what we normally get in the tabletop version of the IP. This is always a tough thing to bring into the digital space based on games that generally are only limited by the imagination of the player. It is usually why we only see titles based on these kinds of IPs that give us a direct path to go down instead of a true branching one that is the norm. Read More...

Head Into Cyberspace With The Are Of Gore For System Shock
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
System Shock Two new looks at the upcoming System Shock remake have joined the list to show off a few more aspects of System Shock getting revamped We are finally back with more for System Shock’s Remake here to take in and this time we are heading into Cyberspace. Technically we are already there based on how we are reading this, but this will be the new version of it all that Nightdive Studios is dropping into the game for us to fly around in. That is how it feels here with the new gameplay where we will be shooting down all of those bugs and viruses in the space to do what we have to do. Something that also feels like it is more in line with the look of the original System Shock than the rest of this remake, and I know I will take it and love it for now. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one of the shorts weeks of video games that we have not had in some time. Baldur’s Gate 3 Is Mixing Up Some Of The Cinematics With Interactivity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Baldur’s Gate A new breakdown for Baldur’s Gate 3 has let us all know that this Baldur’s Gate will not only give you options in your scenes but also the crowds Here we go with an interesting twist for Baldur’s Gate 3 just before it all heads into Early Access on the 30th. It looks as if the cinematics in the game will not just be some nice movies we get to watch that Larian Studios has put together. Instead, things look to be a bit more dynamic and can alter the events of the game amongst other things. Not that groundbreaking when you hear about it at first, but the version we are going to be seeing in Baldur’s Gate 3 looks to mix things up to the point where players outside of the scene can interact with things and possible ruin your character's day. There Are Some New Details Out There For Black Myth: Wukong
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Wukong We have some new intel for Black Myth: Wukong about how the game is being made and the various other things we can expect in Black Myth: Wukong After Black Myth: Wukong took the internet by storm, we all were left with a little bit to ponder on and speculate from based on what we had. It was a nice and beefy thirteen minutes of visuals and gameplay to take in but there was still a whole lot to be left to the imagination. It is kind of the way things go in the industry and we cannot always get an announcement to launch as we all like it. Thankfully, it looks like a bit more for Black Myth: Wukong is out there for us to take in and learn about for the game. Read More...
