While it is not a game with a great overall concept like Brütal Legend, Costume Quest is just about what we have come to expect from Tim Schafer's studio Double Fine. Oh wait, you don't know what Costume Quest is? Let me give you the run down. Costume Quest is a rollicking Adventure/Role-Playing game that unfolds on Halloween night across seemingly peaceful suburban neighborhoods, a mysterious village carnival, and a monster-infested shopping mall. Created by Double Fine's lead animator, Tasha Harris, the game follows the adventure of a group of young friends who must rid their neighborhood of monsters using only their wits, their bravery, and their home-made costumes. While the final DLC pack for BioShock 2 is on its way here in the coming months, it has been officially been announced that the franchise will live on. You know for a game that was not as widely accepted, outside of a small cult following, you would think that 505 Games and A2M would have moved on to another IP. But I guess it looks like Naughty Bear finally balled up and took them on to make his game even better. Just when you thought that maybe there was nothing left to be done in BioShock 2 another DLC pack is sent our way. First it was more multiplayer. Today via Twitter, Runic Games announced the highly anticipated sequel to last year's hit action-RPG, Torchlight. While only a teaser website today, Torchlight II looks to bring everything that made the original successful, build upon it and enable co-op game play. New classes to play, new TorchEd modification editor and a new user interface are just a few of the features already listed for Torchlight II. Did I mention Co-Op multiplayer? It has been only a little over a month after we first brought you our thoughts on Dead Space 2 from E3. So what new can we bring you about DS2 that we haven't already talked about? Ever since it was announced at E3 that there would finally be a Twisted Metal making its debut on the PS3, I have been waiting ever so patiently for a really good showing of what the people over at Eat Sleep Play have accomplished - outside of the demo they had and modes announced. Today, Virtual Play Games officially announced the release date of Intellivision Lives! on the Nintendo DS. Intellivision Lives! is a compilation game sporting over 60 games from the retro console's library. With this year being the 30th Anniversary of Intellivision, this is a perfect time to rekindle the fires of nostalgia. The game is set to release in September of this year.
