Killzone 2 at CES 2009
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of January 2009 - 05:04 AM ]
Killzone 2 at CES 2009 Killzone 2 at CES 2009 So while palling around the Sony booth at this years CES, I stumbled upon the area where they had Killzone 2 set up. The display there was not all that stand out, but it was a great find to come across. While there, I figured I would take in some of the cinematics of the game. That was until I bumped into Kyle Shubel, Managing Producer for Killzone, and he offered up a taste of the game. So being me, I walked away with my head hung low startled that someone talked to me. by [ Friday, 31st of October 2008 - 05:43 AM ]
Silent Hill: for fans, that name is synonymous with fear, psychotic episodes, trippy visuals, and mindbending storylines. For everyone else, it has meant playing with the lights on, confusing and convoluted plotlines, and horrible controls. Need A Killzone Fix?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of October 2008 - 04:48 PM ]
Killzone2 - Helghan - PlayStation 3 Well if you are still pining over this game and need a fix, here is a new trailer for your viewing pleasure. It is a high definition video of some of the cut scenes of the game. No real game play from what I saw, but then again with most games today using the game engine for their cut scenes over FMV, you can assume it will look about the same visually. Which does look pretty sweet. Not much more about what is going on with the game, story wise or what is going on, but still nice to see. Read More...

New Survival Horror Queen, I Dub Thee
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of October 2008 - 03:52 PM ]
Jovovich Makes Time for Clock Tower Ok, so I was out of the loop on this until now. First, I didn't know they were making a movie based on one of my favorite childhood survival horror games, Clock Tower if you didn't catch it above. Notice I said one of my favorite survival horror games. This will be pertinent. Well today I just found an update on this and the actress, Milla Jovovich, that made me secretly love the films based on my favorite survival horror game, Resident Evil, is now going to be in this film as well. Playing Alyssa Hale, although it is listed as Alyssa Barron elsewhere. Read More...

VIDEO GAMES LIVE ALBUM DEBUTS AT #10 ON THE BILLBOARD CHARTS! So I was going to write another review on the Comic Con Video Games Live show, but I saw this and thought this was a better way to say how cool it was. I will point out that it is a different show depending on where you see it, the show in San Diego had fireworks and a different game they played on stage. Not to mention the Cos-Play of the people adding to the whole thing. Pics are below. Read More...

The Road Warrior Said It, So It Must Be True
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of March 2008 - 09:31 PM ]
George Miller, Cory Barlog Working On Mad Max Game Maybe it is just me, but I think this is awesome. Mad Max the game. I mean come on. If you haven't seen the film, I recommend picking it up for at least a rent. NetFlix == Friend. For those who do know what I am talking about, here's the skinny. Writer/Director/Producer George Miller has gotten balls deep in Video Games. And he thought, "Hey there is some stuff I could do with digital media that I couldn't with film. Read More...
