This Week In Video Games 11/10/14 — 11/14/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 15th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes week one in the insanity of video game releases. We've had a plethora of titles just drop and many more in the coming weeks leading up to December. Hells, we even had two reviews this week for #killallzombies and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here and have yet to even scratch the surface of all the titles that have been causing a stir in the video game industry. Yes, that is a slight jab at Assassin's Creed there but we'll leave the heavy stuff for all of those other outlets who can trash talk and not worried about getting black balled in the industry. Moving on to what we did have here though in the way of video game news. Read More...

See How Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Going To Handle In Your Hands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Some new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has surfaced and it shows off the menu system as well as the controller scheme We've seen Resident Evil Revelations 2 in action already but until now there was no context on how everything was being driven and controlled. It was easy to assume the basic for the game as Capcom doesn't deviate from the basics all too much. I mean why would you change Up on the Left Stick from moving the character forward and all that? It would make no sense unless you were making a title specifically to mess with the norm and let's face it, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is not a game that looks to be deviating from the norm but giving us more of the Resident Evil franchise in our faces. The Game Awards Have Been Announced Because We Need Another One…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Geoff Keighley has announced that it is time for The Game Awards show, another awards show just for video games I was thinking the other day "Why don't we have another awards show for video games?" Looks like someone was reading my mind as it looks like we have The Game Awards just announced by Geoff Keighley coming our way to celebrate the video game industry. If the VGX and other award shows of the past weren't proof enough that most gamers out there don't care for an awards show then I don't know what else will. Although to be honest after hearing a bit more on The Game Awards show some doubts could be put aside as it doesn't sound like one network's way to grab some quick cash using our beloved subculture. This Week In Video Games 11/3/14 — 11/7/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 8th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another huge week for video games. We had Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare get released and another huge kick off to Blizzcon in the form of Overwatch getting an announcement. This was also just the start of the huge AAA title rush at that and we have so much more to look forward in the world of video games. Most of which should be hitting all of our systems in the next week or so. At least that is the major push for things currently as that is what most of the news, videos, and images are all about. Have A Crisper Look At Resident Evil: Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have some new Resident Evil: Revelations 2 gameplay footage that shows off a bit more on the characters and enemies of the game We've had some early and odd looks at Resident Evil: Revelations 2 so far and if you are like me you want to see a bit more to be able to pass the proper judgment before shelling out the cash. While Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set to be episodic in nature, there is nothing worse than getting partially involved only to see the game tank part way through. The only bonus is that you don't have to pay for the whole thing up front and can slowly pay for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC as you wish. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/27/14 — 10/31/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of October 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Happy Halloween and happy end of the week in video games news. It's time to get a butt load of candy, fatter, diabetes, and have some time to kick back and play some of our favorite video games of the horror theme. All of this is to lead into the next month where we get to do it all again. Of course this is mostly directed at all of those American readers here as most other countries don't have the same holidays and look at us as the degenerate freaks that we are. Even if it isn't proclaimed all over the internet in much of a public face. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/20/14 — 10/24/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of October 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games I am glad this week in video games is over. Not for any particular reason outside of getting to play all those video games that we've been writing about and covering her eon the site. Even though the review for Styx: Master Of Shadows went live this week I see myself diving back in just for fun and trophy clean up. Need to get as many of those as I can before the PlayStation Experience hits and all. I want to be able to have a higher level to brag about while mixing it up with everyone else who will be attending. Read More...

Review: Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Styx: Master Of Shadows. Is this the Thief game that I've been begging for or just another flop? I've covered quite a bit on Styx: Master Of Shadows over the last few months and it is time to see if the game is worth picking up on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. That's right. It is time that for me to actually play and review Styx: Master Of Shadows and let you know if it lived up to the hype Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide were hoping to build up for it. Just like I am building up the anticipation for the below video review for Styx: Master Of Shadows. I could just keep writing here to keep said anticipation going but instead I'll give you the ten minute review of Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/13/14 — 10/17/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of October 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Now that was one hectic week for video games. Not only did we get a whole bunch of new information and looks at some great titles coming up, like Assassin's Creed Unity, but we also had a nice look at something that stirred the pot in controversy. That would be for Hatred and the graphic nature of the title. All kinds of madness mixed into the already messed up world the industry is in right now but we have to keep chugging along don't we? First Footage For Firefly Online Has Been Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Firefly Online finally has some gameplay footage for us to look at and judge if it will further the franchise that was killed off in its prime If you are a huge fan or Firefly then you may have already heard about Firefly Online. I've been keeping an eye on this PC, iOS and Android MMO since I first caught wind and up until now I've been a little under-impressed with what I've seen thus far. We've not had any good gameplay video and to my knowledge a rather low quality CGI trailer to try and explain what Firefly Online is all about and why the fans should be excited that it is coming. There's even a way to sign up for the Beta for the game that really doesn't give us a thing. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/6/14 — 10/10/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of October 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games That was another fun week in catching all the news for the video games industry was it not? I know I have a good time each we trying to cover everything that we can on the site. Even though we are in the mix of major title releases we still were able to cover more than just that. The Evil Within has been kind of dominating the video game news as of late but everything will be coming full circle for it next week and things will die down a bit. Pun intended if you can find one there. Read More...
