Minecraft: Story Mode Is Making The Move To The Wii U

Minecraft: Story Mode

Minecraft: Story Mode is finally making the leap to the Wii U so now Nintendo fans will be able to enjoy Minecraft: Story Mode in all of its glory

It looks like we have yet another platform to the mix for Minecraft: Story Mode as the game is making the leap to the Wii U now. It looks like Telltale Games was done with losing out on dominating all of the platforms out there for the Mojang franchise and not Minecraft: Story Mode is landing on January 21st in terms of the first episode. Now almost no one will have an excuse for not playing this game and hopefully none of their other titles out there. At least Minecraft: Story Mode seems like the one that makes the most sense and it is there.

Of course I say the first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, which will run you $4.99 USD, but what about the others? Well they will come in the weeks following the release here. Most likely all out there by the time the fifth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode lands so that all gamers out there can experience it at the same time but that is all speculation at this time. It seems sound but we won't know for certain until a later date that I am sure has already been dictated for Minecraft: Story Mode.

Telltale Games is synonymous with quality gaming and compelling content. We are thrilled that Nintendo fans will have the opportunity to experience this first-hand with the debut of Minecraft: Story Mode on Wii U.

Working with Nintendo, we're tremendously excited to be bringing our unique style of storytelling to Wii U for the first time, and we couldn't be happier to be kicking things off with a series like Minecraft: Story Mode that allows players of all ages to craft their own adventure across the Minecraft universe.

In terms of different mechanics or controls for Minecraft: Story Mode using the Wii U controller, it doesn't sound like there will be any. Players will be able to continue their gameplay remotely via the screen on the controller if so wanted but it will not be required for Minecraft: Story Mode on the Wii U. Pretty much the basics that you could expect for it to hit this console based on all other games that are out there. We'll just have to wait for Minecraft: Story Mode to land now.

Are you excited to see Minecraft: Story Mode to hit the Wii U now? Do you think that this will help bring other IPs to the Wii U for the developer or will it only be this one? Were you expecting some other form of controls or mechanics for Minecraft: Story Mode given the Wii U controller? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments. As we get more from Telltale Games on Minecraft: Story Mode or any of their other IPs we will have it here on the site so be sure to stick around for those updates as they come.
