Final Fantasy XIII Countdown To What? So there is no solid news about what is going on at the Final Fantasy XIII site, but there is now a counter on the front page, and a button to register to be informed of what is going to happen when the counter hits zero. It is obviously not a count down to when the game is going to launch because the counter ends in roughly seven days. But it could be something awesome given all the stuff that has been hitting Japanese magazines lately. According to the upcoming DKS3713 issue of Famitsu magazine, The upcoming PS3 demo of Final Fantasy XIII will clock in at a longer running time than the CGI film, Final Fantasy Advent Children. The original version of Advent Children is about 101mins long. The Blu-Ray version will feature scenes that were either cut out or not finished in time for the final release.     Here is a list of other tidbits revealed from the three-page spread in Famitsu: -The Final Fantasy XIII demo will be based from the opening section of the game. -The demo will come on a separate disc rather than on the Advent Children Blu-ray. Three weeks ago during the Microsoft press conference at E3 the good people of Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIII would be making it's way to the Xbox. This came as a huge surprise since it was previously thought to be a PS3 exclusive. The one condition of this deal, or so we all thought, was that an X360 version of FF would be exclusive to North America and possibly Europe. Well it seems there has been a change in plans. Final Fantasy XIII Exhibition Of Original Drawings So on top of announcing the fact that there is going to be a demo for the game come this March, another bit that was featured at the DKΣ3713 event was some of the concept work for the new FF game. Final Fantasy XIII Demo Yes, you read the above title right. There will be a demo for Square-Enix's new Final Fantasy out early next year. How early? Well it looks like March 9th will be the magical date. At least this is what was announced at a private event at DKΣ3713. After numerous reports that FFXIII would NOT be on the Xbox 360, it seems that they were all wrong. Finally Final Fantasy is coming to the Xbox 360, you may ask what this means? Well sorry Sony, it seems that your exclusive Final Fantasy franchise has come to an end. To top it all off, it will be released the same day as the PS3 version. Why I like this is because if for whatever reason the PS3 version sells out, I can at least get the Xbox version or vice versa.
