Spawn May Be Coming To Mortal Kombat X If NetherRealm Wants
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
According to a recent interview with Todd McFarlane Spawn could be included in Mortal Kombat X if NetherRealm wants to us the character Hopefully you read the title correctly so we won't have to look at this as Mortal Kombat X rumor, conjecture, hopes, or any other bullshit that usually goes rampant when a little nugget like this hits the web. What is going on is that during a recent interview with GamerFitNation, Todd McFarlane (the daddy of the Spawn franchise) made claim that NetherRealm could bring Spawn into the Mortal Kombat X franchise. Not only that but it is really up to the studio and publisher if they want to as there has already been a short deal struck between the two. Read More...

Let's Meet The Order 1886's Cast & Crew For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
We have another behind the scenes look at The Order 1886 and this time Ready At Dawn highlights the individual characters that we are going to experience in the game Even with the rumors that The Order 1886 is only five hours long that is not going to stop Read At Dawn from showing us all how much the game is going to offer us in the ways of entertainment. That is really what we should be focused on as even if you can beat The Order 1886 in about five hours if you want to play the game twelve times then you can rack up all of that time and get your enjoyment time. That should be the better focus here as the PS4 release for The Order 1886 looms so close with the 20th only a few days away now. Read More...

ScreamRide Is Coming & We'll Be Able To Scare Riders Sooner
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
ScreamRide has a new launcher trailer and a bit of information on the Demo that is available today for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 ScreamRide had to be one of the more bizarre titles I saw at E3 during the Microsoft Conference. This would be the title from Frontier Developments where we will get to make some insane roller coaster or amusement rides all in the vein of generating screams. More or less a torture simulator when you split hairs only that the NPCs involved in the game don't seem to get injured and love being placed in life-threatening situations. Most people wouldn't find ScreamRide fun, I would think, if there were truly being injured. Read More...

Rumor Has It The Order: 1886 Is Just Over 5 Hours Long
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
A YouTuber with early access to The Order: 1886 has loaded up the entire game for all to see and it comes out to be just over five hours of footage Is The Order: 1886 going to be another over-hyped title for the PS4? YouTuber PlayMeThrough may have you believing just that if you are feeling frisky enough to watch the entirety of The Order: 1886 on the channel. By over-hyped here we would be talking that the full game looks like it can be completed in a little over five hours of time. This is of course all based on the video that was uploaded to the channel that shows the whole game from start to end and all of the cut scenes in-between. Read More...

Jade Has Been Un-Revealed For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
In the recent Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast it was confirmed that Jade will not be in the game outside of Kitana's moves That may sound a little confusing but yes, Jade will not be in Mortal Kombat X. At least that is in the form of the traditional sense we may be hoping for. She is in Mortal Kombat X in the way of a fighting variation for Kitana as revealed during the most recent Kombat Kast by the team over at NetherRealm Studios. On top of that we also were given a good look at the variations for the two characters that we have yet to have details for. That would be Kitana of course and Reptile. Read More...

11 More Minutes Of The Order: 1886 Gameplay Has Been Leaked Online
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
New gameplay for The Order: 1886 has surfaced online for all to watch and see how pretty The Order: 1886 is going to be without many spoilers Get ready as some of the most boring gameplay for The Order: 1886 has been "leaked" online and is available to watch. It looks to be at least 11 minutes of some of the story portion of the game but don't worry about spoilers unless you speak what sounds to be Italian. Or I guess can read Italian as the whole bit of gameplay uses the spoken and written language in the options. Not to mention that the commentator for the video also seems to be speaking the same language over. Read More...

Shadow Realms Has Officially Been Canceled
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
It was announced today that Shadow Realms is being canceled so BioWare Austin can focus on other franchises and IPs including Star Wars If there has been a game as of late with many ups and downs in terms or cancellations it has been Shadow Realms. It is this fact that I personally have stayed a little guarded when it came to the game as rumors about cancellations of the project by BioWare and/or EA have been all over the place shortly after the official announcement near the end of last year. I am kind of glad that I kept myself a bit distanced from Shadow Realms now as the game has been officially canceled by BioWare Austin and EA. Sad news for some and kind of background noise for others who were like me and didn't get too close to have felt the horrible sting of the cancellation. Read More...

Mortal Kombat X Is Looking To Evolve The Online Play For The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
New information for Mortal Kombat X's online play and meta-game have been revealed and looks like it will keep us all more kaptivated longer Back when Kung Lao was confirmed for Mortal Kombat X we caught a little bit of wind on the new online modes and factions for the game. There wasn't much to go on as it was more or less a footnote in the overall information release and all we knew was that there were five factions and you had to choose one at the start of Mortal Kombat X. The fact that all of your actions in single player and online play had an effect somehow wraps up all that we were given then. That was then and this is now and do we have a lot more to talk about these modes for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Dying Light Is Filled With As Many Easter Eggs As Zombies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Dying Light Easter Eggs have been popping up all over the internet since its launch last week and here are some of the better ones Dying Light is full of all kinds of missions and things to experience. I played quite a bit of the game so we could bring you a great review to read and use as a deciding factor if you should give the game a play. In the process of it all though as I had to focus elsewhere I missed out on a lot of really cool little Easter Eggs that Techland placed in the mix of the core game. I feel bad and now need to replay Dying Light to go and find what else I may have missed but you don't have to as I've collected a couple of the cooler Easter Eggs that could go missed if you don't have all the time in the world to search the game's world or the internet. A Lot Of Care Went Into The Order: 1886's Cloth Textures
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Ready At Dawn has released their fifth developer's diary for The Order: 1886 and it details the care that the team took when it came to the game engine You may be scoffing or guffawing at the title here but in the most recent developer's diary for The Order: 1886 the team over at Ready At Dawn sure focus in a lot on how much detail they had to put in to make the game's cloth and materials look and "feel" just right. As if we haven't already seen it during all of the other gameplay footage and demos it is all pinpointed more here. That is generally the point of these kinds of videos but what is more interesting is to see how the team harnessed more of the PS4's power to make sure everything was done correctly and the leather looked like leather; or the snozberries tasted like what every they taste like. Some New Brutal Gameplay For The Order: 1886 Has Surfaced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2015 - 08:20 PM ]
The Order: 1886 has some new gameplay footage as well as a viral site to help us understand the lore of the game Okay, so I say new gameplay for The Order: 1886 but in all honesty it is gameplay from the build that was on display at the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas last year. Some of you may have seen it already but most have probably not seen it. If you have then the jokes a bit on you as this little bit of The Order: 1886 gameplay footage is off of a Japanese build of the same section and most likely running on a PS4 of the same territory. At least the text and voice overs would point to that but none the less here is a look at some of the work that Ready At Dawn have put into the game so far. Read More...

Ermac Is Here To Corrupt Mortal Kombat X Now…In A Good Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Ermac is the next character to be announced for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Kast #2 today and we have some gameplay Keeping to their promise NetherRealm has given us our next character reveal for Mortal Kombat X this week and it is Ermac. I was thinking Noob Saibot given some of the hints thrown out there on the internet but it looks like I was a bit off. None the less though now we have Ermac to look at for Mortal Kombat X and not just an announcement but a look at his variations and gameplay for one. All of this of course lifted from the Mortal Kombat Kast where the developers showed all of this off to the world for equal footing. Read More...
