Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Has A Date To Float On Down To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Uncharted The release date for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has been set and we can all look for more Uncharted to hit us this Summer The wait for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy…continues but as it turns out now, we have a final date we have to wait for as August 22nd has finally been set down as the day it launches on. Even though Naughty Dog is still working hard on it and only announced it not too long ago, we only have a few more months to wait before we have yet another journey in the game's universe. Especially since Uncharted: The Lost Legacy isn't just another DLC add-on to the last entry into the franchise but shaping up to be what sounds like its own game in general. Read More...

Injustice 2 Has Your Battles So Fight Them Your Way With Gear
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new trailer for Injustice 2 has released and this one goes over the basics of Injustice 2's gear system that will turn tides quickly We've heard bits about Injustice 2's gear system so many times and still only have a little slice of it to go with so far. It seems like it is a huge part of the game but also that NetherRealm Studios is keeping a tight lid on it all until May 16th. At least that is how it seems given how little we all know about it and how gear will be handed out in Injustice 2 during and after matches. Well, at least that is the easy thing to assume from it all and how it will augment some of the character's stats on top of just the overall look and feel of how they roll. Read More...

It Looks Like There Is Some New Fallout Speculation Out There
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 11th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Fallout Things out in the rumor mill about Fallout are pointing to Bethesda announcing a new open-world Fallout game at E3 this year Sometimes it’s cool to wonder and speculate. When Bethesda did their first big E3 press conference they unveiled the long anticipated Fallout 4 in a mighty fine fashion. I was just as surprised to see them making it an annual thing with BE3 2017 confirmed just a few months ago. Now I wouldn’t expect them to keep showing up unless they have something huge coming. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Has Even More Gameplay To Pine Over Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade A bit of new gameplay for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has surfaced as well as some great reveals on just what is going on in Hellblade at the end of the day Seeing as Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a featured game this month on a few of the other major outlets out there, it should come as no surprise that there will be a lot of new gameplay and looks at the game as it is currently. There is still no release date set down by Ninja Theory for the game, but it does look like it is shaping up to be an amazing game for the PC and PS4 when it does launch sometime in 2017. Given that everything is starting to ramp up for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice here, I'd say it may be an easy guess that we could see it sometime this Summer; although an October-ish release wouldn't seem too "out there" for me either. That has all been hashed out and now it looks like Red Barrels is going out to show off a bit more of a preview for the game than before with April 25th quickly approaching. Review — She Remembered Caterpillars
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
She Remembered Caterpillars We sit down and review She Remembered Caterpillars. Beautiful, but lacking in fun. Here's our review of She Remembered Caterpillars She Remembered Caterpillars is an indie puzzle game that was released at the beginning of the year that I only recently discovered. It is developed Jumpsuit Entertainment, a small German team, and as far as I can see this is the team's first game together. I felt like it could do with a review. The gameplay for She Remembered Caterpillars isn’t anything special. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has sure been some amazing week for video games now hasn't it? Not only for the industry but also for us over here as it was another heavy review week with things from Horizon Zero Dawn to The Walking Dead and a few others in between. We also had a lot of cool things to see for Injustice 2 again and more for Prey as both of those titles get even closer to releasing next month. More video games to play and not enough time to do it. Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law. This is the third episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since the last two episodes for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier were launched. I was hopeful that the back to back releases of the episodes were a sign that Telltale Games was going to get this season out there rather quickly. Sadly that was not the case as it was three months until the third episode for this season of The Walking Dead to release, but release it has. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Conan Exiles Another major content update for Conan Exiles is out there and it brings a load of new weapons and enemies to Conan Exiles as well as a new dungeon If you've been enjoying Conan Exiles' early access so far, then you'll be glad to see that there is now more of it to enjoy as another new content update has been pushed out and it brings a whole lot of new things to the game. This is listed as the twenty-fourth update for the game but the third major content update that Funcom has given us all. Not too shabby for a game that has yet to have a full release and still technically in development. Read More...

The Surge Is Letting Us Target Some Limbs & Then Take The Spoils
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Surge The limb cutting mechanic for The Surge has a new trailer to try and show it off as well as the loot and crafting system that The Surge will employ Here we go with yet another video for The Surge and this time it is slated toward a mechanic I have been trying to wrap my head around in the game. Deck 13 has stated that there is a limb cutting mechanic in the game and has shown it off a few times before. From what I've seen in the past for The Surge it looks like just how it sounds as limbs do come off when hit, but what I have yet to understand is just how we do this without just flailing wild and hoping for the best. Review — Horizon Zero Dawn
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn. An open world, post-apocalyptic, robot dinosaurs hunting game. Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn In Horizon Zero Dawn you play as Aloy who grows up as an outcast, and an orphan, raised in the wilderness by a man named Rost. He teaches to how to hunt and survive in the wild. One thing that kind of bugged me on a personal level was the names that Guerrilla Games came up with. I get what Guerrilla was trying to do with “Rost” as rust, “Aloy” as alloy, but even simple names from people before the apocalypse have dumb names. Read More...

The Society Is Here To Crush All Opposition In Injustice 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The fourth story trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and introduces us to Injustice 2's version of the Society with all the villains we should expect With a roster as large as Injustice 2's it makes sense that we have so many splintered factions trying to take over the world now that the Justice League has been shut down. There's a power vacuum that needs filling and there are so many that want to fill the void. It all makes sense and NetherRealm Studios is setting everything up well to make this their largest story in a fighting game yet. Read More...

Here We Go With Mass Effect: Andromeda's 1.05 Patch
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect What does Mass Effect: Andromeda look like with less bugs? Hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda's latest patch will show us Tomorrow (4/6) BioWare’s 1.05 patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available. Down below I’ll leave a link to BioWare’s blog post with the patch notes since I’m going to only gloss over the big ones, and for the fact, I don’t play the multiplayer. The first patch note if “Improved Tutorial Placement” which to me seems odd since I don’t know how they could improve that and what was wrong with it. The opening for Mass Effect: Andromeda was very clunky in every aspect of the word but I felt that was more of a story problem than any oddly placed tutorials. Read More...

If It Wasn't For Gamers Resident Evil 7 May Not Have Had VR Support
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The third video for Resident Evil 7's making of series has been released and we get to see just how Resident Evil 7 got the VR support it has It's not uncommon that the wants and needs of gamers help shape their games, but as it turns out for Resident Evil 7, it looks like we all were the basis for one specific feature to be added into the game. That feature being the VR support that came with the PS4 version of the game as it turns out that Capcom wasn't originally keen on having it in there. Understandably so as it is still a budding technology and they really needed Resident Evil 7 to be the game that brought the franchise back into the lime light. Read More...
