Fresh out of Blizzcon 2014 Blizzard has announced Overwatch their first fully new IP in 17 years It has been about 17 years since Blizzard has moved away from any title that wasn't Diablo, Warcraft, or StarCraft based so it was quite a shock to here that they are working on a new title named Overwatch. This is a team based, first person shooter which is another interesting deviation for the company but not one that isn't going to be welcomed with open arms. I'm not even a huge Blizzard fan who spends all of my time and money on their games and I'll admit what we've seen so far for Overwatch has piqued my interest and garnered my watchful eye. Last year Blizzard released Diablo III on PC to great reviews and critical acclaim. Now months after the PC release, console gamers get a chance to play the superb dungeon crawler. I am among the people who got their hands on Diablo III late since I am exclusively a console gamer. This review will be more for console gamers who have never played Diablo III, since I can’t speak for the original PC version because I have never played it. Blizzard has just released a cinematic trailer for the upcoming patch of World of Warcraft, called "The Thunder King." The trailer features Lorewalker Cho reciting a long lost tale / rhyme about the Thunder King along with some awesome game play footage showing off the new bosses in the upcoming raid. 5.2 Features a whole new raid with thirteen new bosses. On November 23rd, World Of Warcraft will be celebrating its eighth birthday. A major feat for any game. Released back in 2004, World of Warcraft (or WoW) has come a long way, and not just in the literal sense. Since its release, WoW has seen over ten million subscribers, four expansions, over 1500 achievements, and enough quests to last you nearly a decade. I first started playing WoW in September of 2009. The new feature in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria called "Challenge Mode Dungeons" offer some very cool Transmogable gear. Transmog aka Xmog is changing the look of your gear with another piece of gear while saving the same stats. So Gear A will look like gear B but still has the stats of gear A. But now Blizzard has announced that all of the Challenge Mode gear sets will have a "use" ability to them, giving each class a unique flare to their awesome new gear. Mists of Pandaria is World of Warcraft's fourth expansion since its beginning in 2004. Featuring over 1,800 achievements, a new race, a new class, a whole new continent to explore and much more. Mists of Pandaria was released back in September and I'm finally writing up a review for it, simply because I have experience enough of the expansion to finally give it a worthwhile review. So the level cap has been increased five levels. While that might not seem much, the ramp up from 85 to 90 is enormous. Read More...

Today Blizzard has finally released the cinematic trailer for the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft called "Mists of Pandaria." The cinematic features a lot of mist and some good old fashioned fighting. Not to mention a little naval battle that is pretty cool. Mists of Pandaria comes out September 25th, 2012. That's right all you "WoWHeads." Blizzard has finally given us a release date for the next expansion to World Of Warcraft. Mists Of Pandaria comes out September 25th, 2012. So mark your calendars and set a week or three of vacation time. There are three different versions of the game coming out: The Standard Edition, The Digital Deluxe Edition and The Collector's Edition. Alright ladies and gentlemen, it's been a week since the release of Diablo III and we have our first patch and another soon to follow. The patch fixes a few bugs in the Auction House as well as tweaks to the Monk and Witch Doctor class. I'll give you the gist of it, but it's in your best interest to read the official statement on the Diablo III website. Monks active skill rune "Tranquility" for Serenity has had its duration cut down to 1 second. After almost eleven years since the release of Diablo II, Blizzard's epic dungeon crawling franchise is finally back. Diablo III takes place twenty years after the events of Diablo II and its expansion "Lord of Destruction" in the world of Sanctuary. After picking one of the five classes (I'll touch on those later) you start your journey off in "New Tristram" which is not too far from the original Tristram (which you will be visiting in Act 1). Your character is in search of "The Fallen Star" which happened to crash into the Tristram cathedral. We soon find out that Decard Cain and his niece Leah were in the cathedral at the time, and Leah gives us the task to find her uncle and save Tristram from the living dead (who happened to rise again due to the power of the fallen star). We finally have a date for the burning hells to be unleashed upon us. Blizzard announced that Diablo III will officially be released on May 15th 2012. "After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we’re now in the homestretch," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15."
