Overwatch A new CGI video series for Overwatch has debuted and it looks like we are going to be getting to know all of Overwatch's characters more starting with Winston Unlike all of those other "get to know a character" video we have had in the past for Overwatch it looks like this time around we have something slightly new. It looks like Blizzard is kicking off a new video series for the game and now we are getting to see more of the story behind some of the characters in a CGI manner. Overwatch The release date for Overwatch has been revealed and it looks like fans of Overwatch will get to have a bit of an early access to it Looks like the wait for Overwatch is going to be coming to an end here soon. We now have an official release date for the game and it looks like it is a lot sooner than many though that Blizzard would have it done by. None the less we can all be happy to see Overwatch landing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. Overwatch The Overwatch beta is back in full swing and a few things have been added to Overwatch in the way of player levels and a few other game altering additions Just when you thought it was over they drag you back into Overwatch as the beta access has been turned back on. Not only is the beta back on and waiting for all of us to flood the game again but it looks like Blizzard has added a few new options and tweaks to Overwatch that are all based on suggestions from the community. Overwatch A new cinematic trailer for Overwatch has been released to give us all a better feel for the tone and themes we will encounter in Overwatch once the game launches Hopefully by now you are not still wondering "Who is Overwatch?" There have been a plethora of videos showing off each well-crafted hero that Blizzard has made for the game in action so that should be a bit of a moot question. Overwatch During Blizzcon it has been announced that Overwatch is hitting the consoles and it is getting an Overwatch: Origins Edition to do so As was to be expected it looks like Overwatch is getting a collector's edition of sorts and in this we have a solid confirmation that it is also heading to the PS4 and Xbox One platforms In addition to the already known PC version. Well more of a special edition and then a collector's edition if we want to be more succinct about this here for Overwatch. Overwatch The Overwatch closed beta has now been dated and the process that players will be able to help shape Overwatch has been detailed out a bit more We've seen all the heroes and villains of Overwatch in action and now it is time to play them and help tweak them with the announced beta for the game. There had been no date set by Blizzard for said beta up until now. But that was then and this is now so we can all look forward to playing in the Overwatch beta here as early as October 27th on our PCs. Read More...

We have more gameplay for Overwatch to show off three more characters as well as a bit of a wrap up on the core gameplay for Overwatch Here we go with even more gameplay and characters for Overwatch here to gawk at. Not only is it more gameplay for the game but it is also a good look at the 'non-female-stereotype' female-stereotype character that everyone praised Blizzard for when she was first announced. I am talking about Zarya the heavy Russian combatant that pretty much looks and plays like every other heavy Russian stereotypical female character in video games. But hey, Overwatch is made by a studio with such a following that no one will care about that and just spin it up on the PC to enjoy for decades as it is another new IP of theirs in the end. Two of Overwatch's armored badasses are shown off this week with a lot more Overwatch gameplay in the mix as well Being that it is the calm before the storm of E3 I guess it is nice that we have two more characters to look at for Overwatch here. Not only that but I think Blizzard planned well as it is both of the tank looking characters for the game as most of us are going to need to be as beefy as Pharah and Reinhardt look in Overwatch while traversing the show floor for E3. All joking aside there though let us get back to the fact that we have loads more gameplay here to look at and pick through for Overwatch. Two more views of Overwatch's gameplay have been released and this time it is for Overwatch's Hanzo and McCree Looks like the character highlights for Overwatch will be on a constant stream of release here as we have two more matches to watch and two more characters being highlighted. In this case Blizzard is showing us off the Sniper-esq Hanzo and straight-out-of-western McCree. These of course are my descriptions and not that from the developer and solely based of the following footage as well as stereotyping that can be seen for each character. Another gameplay video for Overwatch has been released and this time shows off the angelic Mercy for Overwatch Earlier we had a look at Zenyatta for Overwatch and it was a bit jarring and a letdown for me. I was so very excited and then seeing things in action kind of let me down. At least until now as I have seen it looks like it was only the character there that has me on edge about Overwatch. I say this because now we have a good look at how Mercy will handle in the game; at least in terms of the pre-alpha footage that was used to show off the match that focuses completely on this healing angel that looks to play a lot like all of the medics from Evolve. While the medic isn't usually my class of choice in games like Overwatch, the following footage definitely shows me that I may have been too quick to judge based on the previous gameplay that Blizzard has sent our way. During the Blizzard PAX East Panel it was revealed that there are two new characters for their upcoming shooter Overwatch In case you were not able to catch what Blizzard had to show for Overwatch at PAX East, then you should know that there have been two new characters announced for the game. Not too surprising given the past of Overwatch and the fact that we all want to have as many options when it comes to our shooters online. Especially when it is all team based and set in a pretty fantastical world. This now brings us up to 14 "heroes" total to choose from in Overwatch. Read More...
