Looks like the character highlights for Overwatch will be on a constant stream of release here as we have two more matches to watch and two more characters being highlighted. In this case Blizzard is showing us off the Sniper-esq Hanzo and straight-out-of-western McCree. These of course are my descriptions and not that from the developer and solely based of the following footage as well as stereotyping that can be seen for each character. It looks like Overwatch isn't going to be deviating from what we all are used to in video games or entertainment here.
First up for Overwatch we have Hanzo. Equip with a bow and arrow and a little too talkative for my tastes in stealth "ninja" action he looks to be displaying. In fact he seems to have something to say after every kill or attack he has why flowing across the level map. I truly hope this is something that is only present in the alpha version of Overwatch that we are seeing here as this is two out of three characters talked about so far that do this. Especially when it makes no sense at all to have for the character in Overwatch. Maybe I am being too picky here.

Now that you've seen the "ninja" let's look at the gunslinger for Overwatch: McCree. I am trying not to be too cynical here as the stereotype has already been played out for the year with me in terms of Erron Black in MKX but McCree is looks, sounds, and feels just like that same character in the universe of Overwatch instead. I am sure that there is now relation even on the most basic of design levels between the two but it looks like a gunslinger is just a gunslinger as Blizzard is concerned here in Overwatch.
That all said McCree does look to be the most interesting and fun to play in Overwatch to date. At least that is my opinion on the character and what I've seen thus far. Even the witty banter and comments don't get too repetitive for me with him. It just seems like a huge drawback that he only has six shots before needing to reload whereas the others have seem to have a much larger payload. The only difference is that McCree's ammo does look to do more damage than seen so far so maybe that is the balance in Overwatch here.

That makes four characters shown for Overwatch now so what do you think? There are a whole lot more to go but we can already start making judgments right? Of course we can and we want to hear them, or read them, down in the comments. Go ahead and let the world know what you think about Overwatch and the two new characters we've seen and keep your eyes literally glued to your screen and the site as we will be bringing you more for Overwatch as Blizzard gives it out.
