The patch fixes a few bugs in the Auction House as well as tweaks to the Monk and Witch Doctor class. I'll give you the gist of it, but it's in your best interest to read the official statement on the Diablo III website.
- Monks active skill rune "Tranquility" for Serenity has had its duration cut down to 1 second.
- The "Physical Damage" Preferred Stats option in the Auction House for rings has been renamed to "Bonus Minimum Physical Damage."
- The "All Damage" Preferred Stats option in the Auction House for weapons and armor has been replaced with bonuses of specific damage types.
Also on the Diablo III website is some interesting information Blizzard has posted in regards to some data for Diablo III. Here are the facts:
- On Average players have created three characters.
- A whopping 80% of all characters are between level 1 and level 30.
- 1.9% of all players have unlocked Inferno difficulty.
- The majority of hardcore character deaths (35%) take place in Act I on normal. For the record I made it to Act II at level 16.
- Most used runes for each class at level 60 are Barbarian: Best Served Cold, Demon Hunter: Lingering Fog, Wizard: Mirror Skin, Monk: Peaceful Repose and Witch Doctor: Numbing Dart.
You can read some more info on Diablo III and whatnot (again) at their official website
Blizzard has also said that patch 1.0.3 will feature item levels, similar to World Of Warcraft, for weapons and armor. So that way when you pick up a required level 27 legendary and try to compare it to a required level 60 blue you can accurately say "this is not a fair comparison" for the level 27 legendary would have an item level of 20 while the blue could have an item level of 65, in theory.
How are you guys enjoying Diablo III so far? What's the highest level you've made it to? What's the highest difficulty you're currently working on? To answer my own questions: 1. Loving it. 2. Level 60. 3. Hell, Act III.
