With the updates for Rock Band 4 Harmonix has also upgraded the hardware and now we have a look at what has been changed We have yet to see official gameplay for Rock Band 4 but we have had a look at the new controllers for the game and how Harmonix is changing things up to give us that rock star feeling all over again. Well, to clarify they have given IGN exclusive "first rites" to the Rock Band 4 and the virtual rock star feeling as it is Guitar Hero Live that is aiming for the real feel. Now that is out of the way we can dig right in to what we can expect to be plugging into our PS4 or Xbox One later this year to experience what Harmonix and Mad Catz will be bringing with Rock Band 4. Rock Band 4 To Be Co-Published By Mad Catz Now

It was recently announced that Mad Catz will co-publish Rock Band 4 with Harmonix to bring it to the PS4 and Xbox One Take it as good news, bad news, just news, but Mad Catz is going to be co-publishing Rock Band 4 with Harmonix. This to me seems like the perfect marriage to get Rock Band 4 out and with the equipment some may still need to fully enjoy playing the game. For those who may not know somehow, Mad Catz is one of those companies that make all of those custom controllers, fight sticks, and Rock Band controllers in the past. At least versions of them so, like I said, it makes perfect sense that they would partner up with Harmonix here to help bring Rock Band 4 to the PS4 and Xbox One. Read More...

Rock Band 4 Is Bringing Some Updates & Possibly Releasing In October

A recent interview with Eric Pope from Harmonix discusses the new engine and a possible release month for Rock Band 4 Earlier this month we had the solid confirmation that Rock Band 4 is on its way this year to the PS4 and Xbox One. There were a few other little things also confirmed at the time as well. According to a new interview in a UK games industry magazine (MCV) there have been even more details talked about as well as a possible release month of October of this year instead of "sometime this year." Amazing news indeed and would make sense with the franchise's past releases but now I am getting ahead of myself with the Rock Band 4 news. Read More...

Rock Band 4 Is Officially Announced For PS4 & XB1

Rock Band 4 has been officially announced by Harmonix and is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One this year It's been rumored and speculated on and now we can confirm that Rock Band is making the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One via Rock Band 4. Granted this isn't in any shape of an HD "remaster" of any past version as the speculation pointed at, it is a whole new Rock Band for the next generation consoles. The next best part about this announcement is that Rock Band 4 will be hitting our homes sometime this year. The best guess will be sometime around November or December of this year but Harmonix has claimed that Rock Band 4 will be out in 2015. Read More...

Tekken 7's Opening Cinematic Is As Hot As Lava

The opening cinematic for Tekken 7 has been released for all to see as the launch looms ever closer in Japan and the World Tekken 7 will be hitting the arcades of Japan next week and there will be lines as long as the arcades will allow to play the game. This most likely means that no one will be able to seen that opening cinematic for Tekken 7 as the game will constantly be in motion and use. Well that is at least for those who are only going to experience the game in that setting and not search the internet for all of the fun Tekken 7 goodness like said video. A New Rock Band Survey Points Again To A Next Gen Title

In the wake of some new Rock Band DLC, Harmonix has issued out a new survey that could mean a new title or next gen port If you signed up for Rock Band's newsletter or linked your games to Harmonix's web accounts then you might have received a nice little email recently asking you to take a survey. If you did not, then A you are missing out and B you would not have been asked directly about all of your past Rock Band experiences. Godzilla Is Coming To Wreck The Game Awards

Looks like Godzilla is going to have a showing at the Game Awards as well as a possible North American release for the PS3 title Laugh all you want but it looks like Godzilla will be making and official showing in Las Vegas, NV. I'm of course talking about the game and not the king of the monsters or any of his adversaries. Even in the most recent film for Godzilla the beast never actually stepped foot in the city but it looks like he has changed his mind about destroying Sin City. I think that is enough joshing around. The extended trailer for Tekken 7 was shown at SDCC this year and we have it here for you to see Well I guess Namco kept their promise of showing more of Tekken 7 at SDCC this year. Although I am pretty sure this was not what fans of the franchise were looking forward to when said promise was made. In fact, if I was as rabid of a fan for Tekken as I am for other franchises I would be a little put out and upset with such a tease. Tekken 7 Has Been Announced With Very Few Details Until SDCC

At EVO 2014 in Las Vegas, NV Tekken 7 was announced with a nice little trailer and few to go on It's funny that only a few days ago I was asking myself when Tekken 7 could be coming out. All while playing Tekken 6 at home. Well, at least trying to play Tekken 6 as it is still buggy as hells after its release here in the NA region in 2009. It Looks Like There Is A New Godzilla Game Coming To The PS3

Namco Bandai has announced Godzilla coming to the PS3 in Japan this winter No, this isn't a late announcement for Godzilla as the most recent "reboot" has already come and gone from theaters here in North America. It is an announcement for Godzilla that will be coming to PS3s in Japan though. Hopefully in other regions without the need for modding or hacking the hardware but there have been no announcements to date. Rock Band Hits 4000 Songs!

If you're a fan of Rock Band, like me, then you should know that there is a crap load of songs for DLC. So many in fact that over the past week they broke the 4,000th song mark for their franchise. I don't know about you guys, but over 4,000 songs to choose from? That is an amazing feat. I've been playing Rock Band since the very first one, and had a ball playing through the second and third installments of the franchise. Harmonix has announced the full set list for the upcoming Rock Band Blitz. Rock Band Blitz is the first game to ditch the plastic instruments of past games in the series. If you don’t know what to expect from Rock Band Blitz it’s a beat matching game much like Amplitude or Audio Surf. Below is the full set list of 25 songs that will come with the game.
