Miss The First Destiny Beta? The Next One Is Upon Us…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new Destiny beta trailer has been released to make sure we all know the dates that we will be able to play the beta again Just in case you missed out on the first Destiny beta (or alpha) do remember that there is another one slated for July 17th and July 23rd for PlayStation and Xbox respectfully. That is at least when they open up to all of those players out there who pre-ordered the game or all of those lucky enough to be granted early access by their respective news/blog sites. I'm almost sure that by the end of it all damn near anyone who wants access to the beta will have it with or without pre-order so I think the better thing to focus on here are the dates. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new 'dev diary' has been released for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare showcasing the advanced technology we will get to use Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been making its name recently for all those cool little toys we are going to be able to use while trying to win whatever war we are thrust into via the story. We've seen a few in action, with and without explanation, and we've been left to ponder other pieces of hardware that we may get to use. We are in luck here today as it looks like some of the people at Sledgehammer are here to give us a quick rundown on some of the cool little toys we will be using to kill all of the people not on our team in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. E3 2014 Impressions: Skylanders: Trap Team
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Skylanders: Trap Team In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It There have been others out there to try and clone the Skylanders experience but none can do it like Toys For Bob and they are doing it again with Skylanders: Trap Team. This will be the fourth major title in the series and the third one that the developer has been 100% behind. Just when you thought that they were not going to be able to innovate and/or drain more cash from your wallet, it looks like they have and will. I got to check out some of the new features that will actually keep me dropping load of cash for Skylanders: Trap Team. Read More...

E3 2014 Hands On: Destiny
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Destiny In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Destiny was a huge push during last year's E3 and every other gaming event that took place up until now. Of course that meant that Activision and Bungie again had to come out strong with something to show for the game as we are only months out from the release and there are only so many more gaming conventions to show off at. Well, they brought both a multiplayer showing and a not-so-multiplayer showing this year and I was lucky enough to sit down and play a bit more of Destiny. All on the same build that was recently available on the PS4. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Now for the doozy of a game from E3, Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Love the franchise or hate it, Call Of Duty is still one of the largest titles in gaming history and thankfully it seems to be pushing the technology more and more in the recent years. I know some of you would complain about its annualization and how the mechanics have been going downhill for a while but from the showing that Sledgehammer brought they really left and impact. As the name implies. Read More...

Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime, takes to the web to explain the story of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark If you are still wondering what the story of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark is all about then I would recommend turning to Peter Cullen for the answer below. In case you don't know and didn't bother reading anything above this he would be the voice actor we have grown to love as Optimus Prime. Yep, the Prime man himself is here to give us the rundown on what is going on in Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark as well as how it ties into the rest of the franchise; including the films. Apparently This Is Everything You Need To Know About Destiny
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of May 2014 - 09:08 PM ]
There is a new developer diary type video for Destiny showing off what you need to know for the new FPS from Bungie. It may sound like I am joking here about seeing everything you need to know about Destiny here. I am. I highly doubt that this new two minute video is going to show you everything you need to know about Bungie's upcoming FPS title but the title of the video says it does. So given that then we will continue to go off this and that there is nothing else to know about Destiny. So what there is to know about Destiny is that it's an FPS (not new) from Bungie (not new). New Trailer For Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark has hit the web showing off quite a bit of fun gameplay. Do you know how close we are to the launch of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark? About a month away now and the game was only officially announced back in February. I am sure that Edge Of Reality, the new studio working on the franchise, has been working long and hard before that but it is still crazy to think that the game is coming out on June 24th already and there is still so little to know about Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark outside of it taking place in the same War For Cybertron setting. I just hope that Activision hasn't turned the somewhat decent franchise into a full on movie tie-in kind of thing. Let's watch the new trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark and see. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Eight new screens have shown up for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare showing even more of the future tech and world. Now that the PR train is rolling for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare it almost feels like I should be waiting to get everything out in one big push. Then I look at what is coming and realize that most of you are most likely of the mind set of "I want it now!" That being said, I couldn't hold back the new set of screen shots for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare even though they really don't come along with any real news or updates. They do however come along with a bunch of new things to pine over and speculate on. Read More...

New Details Around Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Have Emerged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The official announcement and press release for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been opened up and not leaked now. I am sure by now you have seen the Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare announcement trailer. If you were like me then you most likely may have been wondering how the visuals didn't seem to coincide with the teased in-game screen shots. After seeing the following screen shots I think I will place most of the blame on the limitations of YouTube instead of what we will actually be getting on our PCs and next-gen consoles. This is what I am talking about that has impressed with Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Read More...

So The Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Announcement Has Been Leaked…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The trailer for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been leaked spoiling the fun for Activision. There always seems to be one shit head who wants to ruin the fun and this time it is for the new Call Of Duty game. Last night the trailer that was being teased all day yesterday popped up on line and officially announced Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I say officially as this prompted Activision and Sledgehammer Games to drop the new trailer three days in advance to not miss out on the hype train they were building. As the teaser site has yet to be updated I am still hopeful for something else to come out and drown out all that "May The 4th" bull shit that will now definitely be flooding over talk of the next Call Of Duty. Will We Be Playing A Private Military Group In The Next Call Of Duty?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A follow up to the Call Of Duty tease give a little more insight into what the next game could be about. Earlier today we had a nice little tease for the next Call Of Duty. It looks flipping amazing as long as the in-game shot is truly just that. This isn't about that again though. It looks like Activision and Sledgehammer have put out a new "teaser" for the game that kind of points a finger in the direction that the story and gameplay mechanics may go. That is outside of the basic FPS stuff. The following video for the next Call Of Duty focuses in on privatized military in the real world. Read More...

The Next Call Of Duty Is Set To Be Announced On May 4th
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A countdown site and Game Informer teaser sets us up for the announcement of the next Call Of Duty from Sledgehammer Games. Who wants to get teased? That is just what is going on now for the next Call Of Duty title coming from Sledgehammer Games. For the first big tease you can head on over to the countdown site, callofduty.com/new-era, and see a nice little glitchy image that we can assume will be the logo and title for this Call Of Duty title. It is how Call Of Duty: Ghosts was handled before so it is no real big surprise. Read More...

Enter The Devil's Lair With The New Destiny Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There is a new gameplay trailer for Destiny that shows a strike against the Fallen in the Devil's Lair. Here we go with some new Destiny footage straight off the PS4. In this case we get to follow three characters of different classes as they attempt to make a strike at the Devil's Lair. From the looks of the area it looks to be more inhabited by the Fallen and fewer demons or devils but Destiny is a sci-fi title and not a religious or fantasy title. Not that that should make much of a difference but I felt it worth noting for some reason. Moving on… All of that aside we do get to see one of the mission types and areas of Destiny in a close up situation. Read More...
