Review — Slender: The Arrival (PS4)
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Slender: The Arrival. The cult classic has made its way to the PS4 and Xbox One so lets see how it translated. Here's our review on how they've done so far The insanity of Slender: The Arrival has finally hit the next gen systems to overtake and put the fear into a whole new group of gamers on the PS4 and Xbox One. It's been two years since PC gamers had the fright put on them and just under a year since PS3 and Xbox 360 players have experienced Slender: The Arrival. There have been new story elements added into the game for the next generation but is that what was needed to sell the game to a new audience? Read More...

We Have More Pretty Faces To Grace Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New characters and descriptions have popped up for Mad Max during Game Informer's huge coverage of the game Just in case you've been missing out, it is Mad Max month over at Game Informer so they can try and capitalize off the hype for the new film that is coming out in a little over a month. None of the information there is for the film but for the new game coming from Avalanche Studios. At least it would feel like it was new information if it was anything that the developer hasn't already told us or shown the world before. Outside of the announcement that Mad Max is only coming to the next gen platforms there hasn't been all too much for anyone that has been keeping a close eye on the game and its development. Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Atlas Mugged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Atlas Mugged. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since we had the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands. In fact we had four holidays and a whole lot of snow in between the first episode and the second one. This scared me somewhat as the first episode was so well done that I thought all future episodes for Tales From The Borderlands were going to take this long to perfect. I truly hope they don't. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Straight out of Russia with love we have another Mortal Kombat X character confirmed and another being teased What was speculation yesterday for Mortal Kombat X is now confirmed. We have our first look at Lui Kang in action with the latest international trailer titled The Shaolin Trailer. This comes from Maxim Russian, with love, and shows not only Lui Kang in action but how he will possibly be fitting into the overall story along with Kung Lao and the possibility of yet another character gracing the game. If you are eagle eyed enough you may also see Bo' Rai Cho in the following Mortal Kombat X trailer. This would bring the character count for Mortal Kombat X to a not so round 29 with extra rumor and speculation bringing that up to 39 with what has been gleamed so far. Read More...

One More Character Was Hidden In Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
It looks like one more character has been leaked in the whole Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack debacle on the Xbox Marketplace At the end of last week we had a whole bunch of characters listed out for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Pack. This was considered a "leak" when someone found the description of the pack up on the Xbox Marketplace. The big name listed here was Predator and then of course a video from NetherRealm came out showing off all of the characters coming to Mortal Kombat X via the DLC pack. That of course being Predator, Jason, Tremor, and Tanya. Read More...

Review — Hand Of Fate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hand Of Fate. Is this a sleeper hit that you need to try or just another game to throw aside? Here's Our Video Review Have you heard of Hand Of Fate from Defiant Development? Maybe you have and maybe you haven't but it is an interesting take on quite a few different video game genres and physical card games and RPGs. Think something along the lines of Magic: The Gathering meets a Tarot deck with a bit of a Dungeons & Dragons flare mixed in. It sounds a bit odd from that description; it did to me too, but is it worth your time and attention? Read More...

Call Of Duty: World At War 2 May Have Accidentally Announced Early
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
A new image has popped up online that shows that the next Call Of Duty title may be Call Of Duty: World At War 2 Before you get all antsy in the pansty here this is a rumor about Call Of Duty: World At War 2 being the next addition to the franchise from Treyarch. This rumor of course started from a "leaked" image hitting the internet that shows that Activision may be announcing the game on May 4th this year. That would be a Monday about a month before E3 so it does seem a bit logical for the reveal to happen. Not to mention that Activision does tend to use the Xbox platform to show things off for their next annual release to the Call Of Duty franchise. Read More...

Press L1 To Even The Odds As Batman: Arkham Knight Has Been Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed by a few weeks now but we have new footage and news to soften the blow So the bad news we have here is that it looks like Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be delayed for about three more weeks. This now pushes the official launch of the game to June 23rd from June 2nd. This news comes straight from the mouths of whoever is handling Rocksteady's PR via the game's Twitter account. I find it a bit odd that they used the word "pleased" when telling everyone out there that one of the most anticipated titles is going to have to wait another three weeks to be played but that is just me. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well it looks like this is week two in the heavy Mortal Kombat X video game news. Kratos Is Coming To PS4 Via God Of War 3 Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of March 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
It has been announced today, on the 10 year anniversary of God Of War, that we are getting God Of War 3 Remastered for the PS4 in July We've all been waiting for a God Of War title to grace the PS4 since launch and now we are finally getting it in the way of God Of War 3 Remastered. It's been ten years and three consoles since the first title came out so the time felt right for Sony Santa Monica to bring the last huge title out again. All of the other God Of War titles got the remaster/HD treatment so I guess God Of War 3 needed to go through the same action. I won't complain as we are getting a God Of War title on the PS4 and as soon as July 14th. Read More...

Drawn To Death Looks To Be Getting A Splash More Colorful
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New information and screenshots for Drawn To Death have been released out and things are looking more colorful in the backgrounds It's been a few months since we first saw Drawn To Death during the PlayStation Experience. The people over at the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency have been very adamant on keeping all of the fans in the loop as they can. This is in the form of answer questions, listening to player feedback from, as well as having rather spirited back and forth conversations where it feels like fans truly have some input on how Drawn To Death is being developed. Hopefully you've had a chance to goof around over there and see what is coming for the PS4 in way of this title. Read More...

During the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X the variations for Mileena & Takeda were shown off as well as how the Kombat Kollective added to the game We may have seen and heard of a lot of characters over the last few weeks for Mortal Kombat X but most have not had all of their variations. Luckily that is what the Kombat Kast is for before we get to the full release on April 14th. In this most recent one we had a nice long look at Mileena, Takeda, and Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X. Rock Band 4 Is Bringing Some Updates & Possibly Releasing In October
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
A recent interview with Eric Pope from Harmonix discusses the new engine and a possible release month for Rock Band 4 Earlier this month we had the solid confirmation that Rock Band 4 is on its way this year to the PS4 and Xbox One. There were a few other little things also confirmed at the time as well. According to a new interview in a UK games industry magazine (MCV) there have been even more details talked about as well as a possible release month of October of this year instead of "sometime this year." Amazing news indeed and would make sense with the franchise's past releases but now I am getting ahead of myself with the Rock Band 4 news. Read More...
