Have A Little More Backstory For God Of War’s Atreus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
God Of War If you missed out on the PSX tour of God Of War this year, then you are in luck as you can experience all of the God Of War that was shown there While we still may have been left wanting for more gameplay for God Of War here, we do have a bit more in terms of the game's story and background. At least for one of the characters we will be adventuring with here as Santa Monica Studio made sure to capture the guided tour they had at this year's PSX that went into detail on one of Atreus' first adventures. He is a curious child and it seems that there will be more going on with him in the game than just being backup support or one long escort mission. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/11/17 — 12/15/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 16th of December 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games down for the year and only a few more to go. So much we all want to know out there and so much that the developers and publishers just will not give us. At least not give us so we do not spoil any of those video games out there. God Of War and Far Cry 5 could become unplayable if we had everything spoiled for us right out of the gate. Read More...

Darksiders III Will Take Us To The Hollows To Fight Lava Beasts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Darksiders A new gameplay snippet for Darksiders III is here and shows us a new location in Darksiders III and other creatures we will need to take down We finally have a bit more for Darksiders III to take a look at here as it seems like Gunfire Games has been a bit on the quiet side of things for the title lately. That or it has been THQ Nordic holding things back for unspecified reasons to build more anticipation for their game. Nonetheless, here we are with another small glimpse of the game with some more actual gameplay. Read More...

Explore More Of Far Cry 5's Open World Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 A lot of gameplay for Far Cry 5 has been released and it shows off the open world of Far Cry 5 better than we have seen so far Far Cry 5 may have been pushed back to March 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but that does not mean that we are not going to get flooded with new gameplay to look and get us hyped up for the game. This is Ubisoft after all and they will want us to see all the flashy visuals and explosions as possible to get us to shell out more cash for the game. This is most likely why we now have almost a half hour of new footage for Far Cry 5 to look at and see how the open world of the game will be as dynamic as some of us have wanted but also as lush as it should be. New Details For God Of War Have Been Floated Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
God Of War Out at PSX God Of War was on display with the same trailer we have had, but there were new details for God Of War mixed in One of the things that many people were hoping to hear out of this year's PSX was a solid release date or any real update to God Of War since we had the new trailer out of Paris Games Week. Sadly, the event has come and gone and very little else was doled out there from Santa Monica Studio for it all. The developers did have a nice little sit down to discuss the game as well as a few extra words on the gameplay clip we had back in October. Read More...

Overkill’s The Walking Dead Introduces Us To Aidan & The Game Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead are finally here and we get a taste of what life in this FPS set in The Walking Dead universe will feel It has been quite some time that we had any updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title that we heard about back in 2015. It is still in the works and Starbreeze with 505 Games is still bringing it to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of that and Overkill is still working hard on it and is finally ready to show off more of their take on The Walking Dead universe. All in a cinematic way, but given that the game is now slated for Fall of 2018, we still have some time to get all of those extra details and bit of gameplay to get us all excited for this game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of December 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you think you are about done with all of those video games by the end of the year, we get a week like the one we just had. So much happened yet again and we have yet to get into the PSX this weekend. Even The Game Awards had a whole lot of new video games announced and shown off in the mix. Almost more than the announcements of the winners if you ask me. Read More...

More Zombies Are Coming As World War Z Gets Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
World War Z During The Game Awards last night, World War Z, was announced so we could further diving into the world of World War Z with new stories If you were watching The Game Awards last night then you most likely saw the nice little tease for World War Z. Not the next film from Paramount, but the new video game coming to us from Saber Interactive. It is all set in the World War Z film universe, but other than that it does not seem to be linked to anything we have seen thus far. We already lived that story and do not need to go through it again in game form on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Far Cry 5 Has Been Delayed As Well As The Crew 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 Sadly, it looks like Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 have been pushed out a month so we get the best version of Far Cry 5 that is possible The wait for Far Cry 5 continues as it has now been delayed. Sad news indeed, but thankfully it has only been delayed for a month or so that way Ubisoft can try to bring us some additional improvements to the game. What those improvements are is anyone's guess, but that is what we have here and why the game has been delayed. Let us just hope that it is not to add some things to Far Cry 5 that no one ever wanted but they think we do. Read More...

Meet Injustice 2's Atom Again Just Before He Hits The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Another look at Atom is here for Injustice 2, even though we saw him earlier, but this time with more Injustice 2 gameplay This all may feel a bit familiar for Injustice 2, but here we go with another good look at Atom just before he lands in the game here on December 12th. We had a look at him back in October when NetherRealm Studios opted to show off the worst hidden character in the Fighter Pack 3 DLC, but that was just a small showing (pun intended) just to give a taste. He looked cool, but mainly just did what we expected in Injustice 2 by shrinking, growing, and having his blasts to take down his opponents. That and we also are to see that we are not getting the Ray Palmer version of the character but the Ryan Choi version of the character. Read More...

The Final Core Episode Of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Is Almost Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The third and final episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is coming soon to wrap up the events leading to Life Is Strange in general Get ready to wrap up the base story for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm here in a few weeks as we now have a release date and trailer for the third and final episode for the game. Or at least the final episode in terms of the story that Deck Nine Games set out to do with this game and not just the extra content that is coming next year to better bridge this and the core game. Yes, that all sounds weird to say and it is weird to type, but that is just how it is until Square Enix goes out and funds even more of Life Is Strange to be made or just puts it in a folder somewhere. We Now Know When The Path To Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption Will End
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been set and we can start getting ready to become the Sinner early-ish next year Maybe you remember a while back when we first brought you Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption or maybe you do not. With so many games flying around out there you do not need to be tasked with remembering them all. That is what we are here for and that is why we are bringing back up this interesting boss battler title that Another Indie will be bringing to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC if it still tickles your fancy. To further freshen your memory, Sinner is also that title that looks to de-level you as you progress further into the game; not only to make the challenge a bit harder, but to also help with the story of redemption as you have to choose what you are giving up in order to bring down the seven deadly sins.
