Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Mark another week of video games in the bag here for 2018 as we had another fun week and a whole lot of news to cover. Far Cry 5 New vignette videos for Far Cry 5’s cultist leaders have hit the web and they show off how creepy they will be and just how much mayhem they will cause in Far Cry 5 Just when you thought there was enough of Far Cry 5 already out there for us to take in before March 27th, we get a whole lot more to dive right into. In the case here, we are going mostly in on the villain side of things as Ubisoft has given us some nice new videos of the cult's leadership and just why we need to fear them in the game. Mutant Year Zero A new tactical-adventure game, Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, has been announced and Mutant Year Zero aims to bring us a unique take on the post-human Earth We had a nice tease a few weeks back from Funcom that they were working on something new and now it looks like the cat is out of the bag as Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden has been announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least it is safe to assume that this was what they were teasing even if they are not directly developing it like other titles in their wheelhouse. That part is being done by The Bearded Ladies, a team that consists of some pretty talented people from many of our favorite past titles like HITMAN and PAYDAY. Read More...

Far Cry 5 Another look at the vehicles of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see a few more of the ‘rides’ we will get to have when Far Cry 5 launches Here we go with even more for Far Cry 5 as we have yet another look at the vehicles we will be using in the game to bring down all kinds of insanity on that cult out there in Montana. We all knew it was going to be a thing as it really is part of the franchise that Ubisoft has crafted here, but we needed to have another reminder of what is going to be going on. That and we are heading out into the mid-western wilds of the United States where things can get a bit crazier than any of those other areas that Far Cry has done before. Read More...

Nightmarchers Even though the Fig campaign for Nightmarchers has failed, it looks like the team is still moving forward to make Nightmarchers and to make it better Last week we saw Nightmarchers Fig campaign come to an end and then the latest video for one of the gods in the game. Sadly, it did not look like the funding goal was met but that has not kept Wyrmbyte Studios down as they are pushing forward with development and taking in all of the feedback and criticisms they received to make it a better game. Although this does look like we may not see a final version of Nightmarchers until the end of 2018 or possibly even 2019. It is how games go sometimes, but they are rolling with the punches it seems and not just abandoning the idea and title. Read More...

Far Cry 5 Another look at the wildlife of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see just how we will get to hunt them or be hunted when we dive into Far Cry 5 If there is one thing that the franchise has been known for before Far Cry 5, it is the fact that there will be some fun interactions with wildlife in the game. Sure, before now some of the games have only included them in to make the world feel a bit more realistic, but Ubisoft knows that is not the only aspect we want in the games. The release date for Moss has been set as the developers make the February timeline with Moss landing right before the end of the month It looks like Polyarc has finally settled on a release date for Moss and now it has been set. Not too long ago we covered the game and there was still no set date other than February leaving a lot of people wondering when this PSVR title was actually going to come or if it would make the mark. For those who have not been following Moss here, I am talking about what we had to look at last week without a solid release date set still. Far Cry 5 We have yet another look at one of Far Cry 5’s heroes for hire and it is Boomer again just to see how the team made the dog in Far Cry 5 feel just perfect With March 27th quickly approaching, it seems like it would be a good time to dive into more of those heroes for hire in Far Cry 5. We have seen a whole lot of them in the past few weeks and I am sure we will see more from Ubisoft as the time ticks down. Burnout Paradise Another remaster is coming as Burnout Paradise Remastered is announced and it will be bringing the game in 4K and include all of the Burnout Paradise DLC out there It is time to add another remastered title to the growing list as Burnout Paradise Remastered has been given the announcement treatment and heading to us on March 16th. Not the longest of lead times, but Criterion Games and EA wanted to get the racing game out there and all in the 4K quality at 60 FPS. That is at least if you are on a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X that can handle all of that. Read More...

Nightmarchers Yet another deity for Nightmarchers is here and this one gives us the ability to distract our foes in Nightmarchers in an interesting way Add another of the Hawaiian deities to the list for Nightmarchers as we now have a look at Kapo in the game. This would be the goddess of fertility in the culture and while we could make strong assumptions as to the ability she could grant, it looks like Wyrmbyte Studios has gone a different path to keep it all in line with the game. At least in line with the lack of needing to sexualize Nightmarchers so far and that could have been the easy way out for it all. Instead, it looks like she will be granting us the ability to distract with an arrow and use said distraction to sneak or stealth kill our enemies. Read More...

Moss New gameplay for Moss is out there now and now we get to see just how Moss will blend the PSVR experience with a platformer style of game It may be time to put on your "remembering pants" to think back to a game announced at E3 named Moss. Maybe it still rings a bell for you or maybe you remember there being a title named that which was shown off from Polyarc and featured an adventurous mouse as the lead. Remember it or not, here we are with more for this PS VR title and just what to expect if it makes the February of this year release date that Moss currently has set for itself. Spyro New rumors are out there that a Spyro The Dragon Trilogy Remaster is coming to the PS4 and it will house the first three Spyro titles in it It is time to add another rumor to the mill as it has been reported that a Spyro The Dragon Trilogy Remaster is in the works and we could get the full announcement from Activision as soon as March of this year. If the rumor is true, it could be sooner than later, but that is when it is "reported" as getting the announcement with a Q3 or September of 2018 release. Street Fighter V New gameplay for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is here to show off Blanka and how he will join in the fight of Street Fighter V as the next DLC character On February 20th Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will be adding in another classic character to the roster of fighters and now we have a look at him in action. That character being Blanka from the franchise's fame and is part of the Season Three DLC Capcom has put together for us all.
