So first off I'm Brian and new to Aggrogamer.com (and also Pwned.com My user name is GooseyB please friend me so I'm not too lonely!). Aside from video game blogging I also play in this band. Infinity Ward Keeps Melting Down

You can not follow game industry news and not have noticed the countless reports of the drama currently going on between publishing giant Activision and successful Call Of Duty developer Infinity Ward. Even legitimate news sources have covered the huge lawsuit frenzy that has been going on. Today, industry analysts have suggested that as many as 20 more Infinity Ward Employees are projected to no longer be employed by the company in a month's time (source Gamespot). Even though strong sales of the Modern Warfare 2 map pack DLC suggest a short term financial positive for Activision, the stock has continued to go down. Infinity Ward Founders Respawn

Not long ago Activision "let go" the co-founders of Infinity Ward, Jason West and Vince Zampella. Well it looks like these two guys have decided to start a new gaming company and get a new publisher. Jason West and Vince Zampella are two industry leaders who brought the amazing Call of Duty franchise to homes everywhere. Now brushing off the dust from a rumor filled departure, Jason and Vince have founded Respawn Entertainment. The website is up and running, and probably the simplest website in the world. Dead Space 2 Does Dark Void Right

So if you were at PAX East last week, or at least following the official Dead Space Twitter account, you might have had the chance to catch a glimpse of what is to bee seen of the Dead Space 2. Hackers Ruin The PS3 For Everyone?

The following words are my own opinions and not those of AggroGamer and its staff. A month or two ago, it was announced that someone had figured out how to crack the PS3 to allow for home-brews and "pirated"/backed up PS2 and PS3 games to be played on the system. It was not explained how for a week or two after the announcement that it could be done in a way that could not be patched. But this isn't the news here. The news here is that Sony, after stating it wouldn't, is going to force "Fat" PS3 owners to update so they can no longer install another OS on the system. Read More...

In This Week In Nintendo, they bring to you a freeware that came out in 2004 for the PC call Cave Story. A world where rabbit-like creatures roam the world. Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package Details Revealed

Activision finally reveals details, including the pricing, of it's first DLC content for Infinity Ward's latest best seller game, Modern Warfare 2. So far there will be three brand new maps, titled Storm, Salvage, and Bailout. They will also be throwing in two graphically enhanced maps from the original Modern Warfare, which are Crash and Overgrown. The price for these five maps is a ridiculous $15, or 1200 Microsoft Points. If anyone may recall, the only map pack released for Modern Warfare was four maps for only $10, or 800 MS Points. Macs R Dead

I think everyone saw this coming at some point. When you have a game series with such wide appeal as the Left 4 Dead series, the need to push it out to other platforms becomes fairly obvious. Though I suspect that at some point we will see this game make its way to handhelds in some form or another, this announcement deals with Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 shuffling its zombie feet to the Mac OSX through the glory of Steam for the Mac. For those who are curious, the L4D Team discuss what exactly this means for you: "Steam on the Mac will behave just like Steam for Windows, but through Steam Play will add cross-platform ownership. We all knew it was coming. The pictures, the articles, the speculation, it was going to happen, and now it's here. Wanna play Steam games on Mac, there's an App for that. Valve announced Steam for Mac users today and some extremely exciting details for all your reading pleasure. Steam will be cross platform playable, players on both platforms will be able to play together in a shiny happy virtual universe.Games will be scheduled to release at the same time on both platforms. Trailer Week For Nintendo & Bungie

Halo and Metroid. Two major household names in the gaming industry. Well a few days ago Bungie and Nintendo released trailers for Halo: Reach multi-player and Metroid Other M. To be honest with you all, I thought the Halo trailer really spoke volumes on what the multi-player will be like with a few nice additions to the game. Top Heads of Infinity Ward Leave

This morning many awoke to rumors quickly circulating the internet and news sites about prominent figures at Infinity Ward being fired by Activision, supposedly even with "bouncers" removing them from their offices. Patrick Klepek of G4's The Feed initially broke the possible story. The rumors began gaining credibility as Jason West's Linkedin page now stated he used to work for Infinity Ward and a Facebook status claimed unemployment.
