A new developer diary for Dying Light has been released to lead into PAX Prime with and to show off the freedom of movement that the game allows for It's that time again to dig into the mechanics of another title and this time it is Dying Light's free movement and how it has evolved from the original design. Like for instance the fact that it was going to be simulated free movement at the beginning until the level design was too bogged down and still didn't feel fully free. The creators of Night Trap are looking to bring us all the game for a new generation via Kickstarter campaign Some of you may not be old enough to remember Night Trap or the Sega CD for that matter. Hells, I wasn't even enough years into my life cycle at the time to play Night Trap by the ESRB standards now when I first dove into the game back in 1992. I guess that is a point in the corner for the game helping spawn the ratings board due to the fact that back then "all video games were for kids." Multiplayer is now a feature in Dragon Age: Inquisition and we have a new trailer to show off how BioWare and EA are implementing it into the game Yea, you read that right; Dragon Age: Inquisition is getting multiplayer mixed into the game. To be honest I am surprised that it took this long to get a multiplayer option into the franchise as it seems like it would be a decent fit. At least that is how I saw it back in the Origins day as the game played a lot like other titles that had a good multiplayer mixed in for the genre. A new trailer for Escape Dead Island has been released from Fatshark and Deep Silver with a release date mixed in It's only been a few days now since we brought you a few new looks at Escape Dead Island. We pondered on the release date for the game and now it looks like we will all be getting to Escape Dead Island on our PS3, Xbox 360, or PC on November 18th. A little late for Halloween but that most likely means that Fatshark wasn't being rushed to meet the horror month deadline for their new take on the Dead Island franchise. Konami and Kojima Productions have finally brought us more on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer aspect shown at E3 this year Last week at Gamescom we were shown a bit on how we can keep replaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after all was said and done the first time. Two new trailers for Destiny have been released with each focusing on a different planet we will be able to explore Some of you may be a bit too young to catch the joke in the headline but none the less Destiny will be taking us to Mars and Venus. That is at least if we are to understand correctly from the most recent two trailers for the game that Bungie and Activision have released into the universe. Two new gameplay demos for Assassin's Creed Rogue have been released and show off the new and upgraded features of naval combat So it looks like Assassin's Creed Rogue is coming out strong at Gamescom here and with its imminent release date approaching the dev team took time to show off the new and improved naval combat system for the game. This was an amazing feature that I thought made its real debut in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag but it looks like Ubisoft is just pushing things further by taking us into uncharted waters, pun intended, with different locations that we can sail in. Looks like there will be a season pass for The Evil Within giving us a few interesting ways to play the game When it comes to season passes for games The Evil Within doesn't seem like it would be a title that would have a need for one. Granted, that is looking at most season passes as multiplayer add-ons for games or bonus maps for said multiplayer but that isn't the case here. Don't think that some form of multiplayer has been shoe horned in for The Evil Within when it wouldn't be needed nor wanted for the horror experience.
