WWE programming has been heating up lately with championships changing hands and rivalries building up. With Summer Slam being over WWE has followed their tradition of revealing a wealth of information on their new WWE game. WWE 2K15 comes out in a few months but look no further as I have compiled everything that we know about WWE 2K15.
2K has revealed 62 wrestlers that will be featured in WWE 2K15. This isn't the full roster yet but the rest of the roster will hopefully be revealed soon.
Two new game modes that have been announced for WWE 2K15 so far are Showcase mode and My Career. My Career is much like the career mode in the NBA games. My Career in WWE 2K15 is the WWE adaption of this gameplay mode that has worked so well in 2K's other titles. Also in this mode you will take your created wrestler form NXT to WWE programming to make a name for yourself. As you progress you will advance you career by winning championships on the way. Not much more has been revealed about this mode but it is assumed that it will feature full WWE superstar voice-overs and branching story-lines like its NBA counterpart.
As for Showcase Mode it will be a mode that takes the place of 30 Years Of WrestleMania mode from previous titles and is the new story driven mode. Showcase mode will focus on some of the greatest stand out rivalries in the WWE. Two rivalries that have been confirmed so far are CM Punk Vs John Cena and Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels. This mode is expected to work like the 30 years of WrestleMania with each match having objectives to play the match exactly how it happened in the real world.
It was a bit surprising that there was no gameplay shown at the WWE roster reveal but there is some leaked gameplay that was recorded at Gamescom. Enjoy the gameplay for WWE 2K15 below and get ready for October 28th and make sure you pre-order to get Sting added to your roster.
