While at E3 I got to see Bloodborne in a more intimate setting than just the trailer. Here's my take on it One of the larger titles named and shown during the Sony press conference was a game called Bloodborne. The next title coming from Japan Studios and From Software for the PS4. You may know them from King's Field and Dark Souls and it looks like Bloodborne is along the same lines here. I had the pleasure of seeing their live gameplay demo on the show floor at E3. Lucky for you I am going to break down what was shown outside of the pre-rendered trailer. Read More...

Dead Island 2 was announced at the Sony press conference and just as before it came with an amazing trailer to show it all off If I had to say one thing that Deep Silver does insanely well it has to be trailers for games and they did it again for Dead Island 2. If you were unable to catch the trailer in the middle of the Sony press conference out here at E3 then you are in luck as I have included it below for your viewing pleasure. It will also save you the time of having to scrub through the recap of the press conference just for the Dead Island 2 trailer so there is that as well. But enough of the sucking up. Read More...

Just like before, we have a video stream for you to follow along with our team that is in the crowd. Also like the other conference this was written before EA has taken the stage to show off their wares to the world so if you are reading this before things are in full swing take that into account. What should we speculate on that EA is going to show us all? New Mirror's Edge 2 footage? Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming Well that brings the end to this week in gaming news as we lead into E3 2014. EA and Visceral Games have made Battlefield: Hardline official and here is the trailer for the game to prove it I guess it only took a few 'leaks' of Battlefield: Hardline before EA and Visceral decided to let the secret out into the wild. It is sad that all of these other 'reputable' and 'deserving of early footage' outlets have decided to ruin the fun and excitement that I am sure EA was looking for at E3 but what is done is done. We can now be certain that Battlefield: Hardline is coming and that we will hopefully be getting a nice long look at it on the show floor and moving forward in the coming months leading up to the full launch of the game. October 21st for those who may be wondering and haven't just jumped down to the trailer already. Read More...

Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty gets a new E3 trailer to show off how beautiful the HD remake is looking up until now While I am not always the biggest fan of the "HD remake" after seeing the following trailer I can fully get behind Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty here. As memory serves the original Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee looked spectacular using today's standards as a guide. At least if you could take what was on our standard resolution TVs back then and properly upscale it for our new high resolution/4K TVs. We all know that wouldn't look well at all if that was all that was going to be done for New 'N' Tasty. Read More...

It's been reported that Kingdom Hearts III won't be focused on at E3 but the latest Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX trailer has a nice little tease for us all It is starting to shape up that this E3 is going to be filled with a lot of good news followed with bad news as Kingdom Hearts III has fallen into that arena here. Reports are coming out that the game is going to be a no-show to little-show at E3 here next week. That means there is just about as much to know about Kingdom Hearts III as we know from last year's event where a short trailer was shown off at the PlayStation press conference. Read More...

Gearbox and 2K have released another trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel showing how much fun dancing on the moon can be Since we are moving into serious times here with E3 breathing down our necks I'd say it is time for a bit of levity and that is just what are getting with the most recent trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. This trailer also answers the age old question of how much fun it would be to dance on the moon. Even better, line-dance on the moon. Read More...

Hideo Kojima gives us a minute and a half tease of what we will be seeing for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain out of E3 next week There has been no shortage of teases that we would be getting a small look at Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain before E3. Those have only been followed by the news of how big and "hard to watch" the actual gameplay footage at E3 will actually be. As a man of his word, Hideo Kojima has given us just that with the following teaser video showing nothing but gameplay for The Phantom Pain. The biggest thing to take away here is that we will be back to hiding in cardboard boxes again. Read More...

Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime, takes to the web to explain the story of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark If you are still wondering what the story of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark is all about then I would recommend turning to Peter Cullen for the answer below. In case you don't know and didn't bother reading anything above this he would be the voice actor we have grown to love as Optimus Prime. Yep, the Prime man himself is here to give us the rundown on what is going on in Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark as well as how it ties into the rest of the franchise; including the films. If you are worried about spoilers or anything then obviously you want to pass on by this video as it does detail the main story arc of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark. Read More...

A trailer for the Gauntlet reboot has been released showing off all the gear and weapons that we will be using in the game Earlier this year we had the announcement for Gauntlet getting the next gen treatment with a nice little trailer. Now that Gauntlet is slated to be shown off to the world here next week it should be right time to show off some actual gameplay. Isn't it? Even if you said 'No' in your head then too bad because we have some new footage for the game. Read More...

The E3 trailer for Dying Light has been released and it shows off a whole bunch of new zombies and ways to kill them Let the flood of new gameplay trailers for E3 begin with Dying Light. Fitting given the flood of zombies that are shown to be chasing you or being killed by you in the all new gameplay trailer for the game. Do take notice that I said 'all new' as well. In fact I don't think anything outside of the core mechanics of the gameplay have been reused to make this new trailer. Read More...

Developer Dinosaurum Games has announced their next title for the PS4 called Without Memory and uses the Unreal Engine 4 There have been a lot of game announcements recently just days before the kickoff of E3 and here we go with another one with Without Memory. This is coming from Dinosaurum Games exclusively on the PS4 and using the Unreal Engine 4 sometime in Q2 2016. Yea, that is a ways off but it has been at least announced and sounds rather ambitious for what looks like the studio's first title. Here's what we have been told thus far outside of the exclusivity.
