A minor update to The Quiet Man may provide a bit more to the core of the game and just what we may be experiencing in The Quiet Man If you caught the live stream that Square Enix had during E3 then you most likely caught the small teaser for the upcoming game called The Quiet Man. By small, I am mean that it showed very little in terms of actual gameplay and focused a bit more on the live action video that was there to tease it all. It was strange, but The Quiet Man caught the eyes of many even though it all looks to be a brawler, based on the video at least, and that the protagonist may be deaf and/or mute. Read More...

It looks like Bleach is now coming to Jump Force as three new characters get the announcement to Jump Force’s roster of anime characters Heads up for all those anime fans out there who have been keeping an eye on Jump Force since it was recently announced. It looks like three new characters have been announced for the game as Spike Chunsoft is adding in Bleach characters to the fight. Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen to be exact will be joining the fight of Jump Force as you can see down in the screenshots. Not the largest of surprises as I expect to see all of the IPs that Bandai Namco have access to will be joining in when the game launches in 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

New gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here and it gives the rest of us a taste of what was on the floor at E3 for this Assassin’s Creed title There is no denying that we had a good showing of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey out at E3 even though it was one of the worst kept secrets of the pre-show. It always seems the case for this franchise as of late and Ubisoft either needs to embrace it or figure out a way to keep that all hidden before large shows like this. That is not why we are here though, as while we had some good gameplay and demos to experience for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the floor, not everyone out there had a chance to see or experience them. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have successfully made it through yet another week and a whole lot more to look at for all of the various video games coming out there. We were also able to wrap more of the coverage we had for E3 with Control and Just Cause 4 rounding things out a bit. We also had a chance to dig into some of those other video games out there that we happened to miss on the show floor like The Sinking City. Not to mention that we were also able to get out a review for Jurassic World Evolution out there to you all in the mix. Read More...

Four new screenshots for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey have popped up and they give us another hint as to what we may get to experience in Ancestors Another good chunk of time has passed since we last heard anything for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, so it seems about time we had something. Given that Panache Digital Games announced the game almost three years ago and we still have little to no clue on the inner workings of the game as of yet, one would think it is time. Just as last time, it is but only slightly. Read More...

Footage from the closed alpha of Battlefield V is here and it gives us all a look at the current state of Battlefield V and its operations It looks like the closed alpha for Battlefield V is now in full swing and that means we have a whole lot more to look at the game in terms of gameplay here. At least for those who were not lucky enough to swag one of these keys as of yet and still want to see how DICE has changed up the franchise and set things up for the new title. I am sure that this number will dwindle given how things normally go, but if EA holds out more of those keys for those who pre-order Battlefield V, this may be one of the few ways to see how the game has progressed. More gameplay for The Sinking City has been revealed out of E3 and it gives us a better look at the open world of The Sinking City and its weirdness If you felt that the last look we had at The Sinking City was a little on the light side of things, you were right and we feel you. It was short and sweet and did not truly give us all much more to look at for the game and what Frogwares has been putting into the game to give us that full Cthulhu feeling of things. I am not saying it has not been there before, but there has not been a solid look at it all for the public as of yet and I know many want more for The Sinking City. Read More...

Even more gameplay for Metro Exodus is here from E3 and this bit explains a bit more than some of us did not get to experience in Metro Exodus so far If there is a true testament to how large the world of Metro Exodus and how vast the gameplay mechanics are in the game, it has to be with this latest showing of gameplay that we have here today. I was personally able to sit down and give the game a bit of a play a few weeks ago and see just what 4A Games had for us and, while impressed, apparently I missed out a whole lot given the different variations we all could have gone. That is why it is nice for Deep Silver to have a few more of these gameplay videos cut that highlight even more of the demo shown at E3 for Metro Exodus as I know I totally missed them all. After twenty-six year, ToeJam & Earl will finally be back and coming this Fall with their fourth title, ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove It has been quite some time since ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove was funded and had work started on it. It has been delayed and moved around a bit, but HumaNature Studios has been still working on it and aiming to get it to us as soon as possible. It was pushed back when Adult Swim was poised to publish it, but now it looks like they are out and the team is going to be self-publishing this ToeJam & Earl title all on their own. This also means that we have a more secure release window of Fall of this year now. Read More...

We sit down and review Jurassic World Evolution. It is the park simulator we have all been asking for that can go horribly wrong. Here is our review of Jurassic World Evolution It seemed like it took way to long, but the park simulator we have all been waiting for is here with Jurassic World Evolution. At least the park simulator we have all be asking for since the first film released and gaming technology made it possible to do. I guess that is why Frontier Developments took control and put together a version of the Jurassic World IP to sate that want the gamers and film fans have been craving. Read More...

After a lot of back and forth, it looks like Agony will no longer be getting an unrated version and there may be fewer updates for Agony in the coming weeks Well, it looks like we may not be getting that unrated version of Agony after all now. At least outside of the videos that Madmind Studios has placed out there to give us a look at how the game's story could have played out and looked in its raw form. It was never anything too crazy but it was a way to make sure we all saw the version of Agony they had planned for us. It is no more now as the studio has hit some financial woes and will not be bringing this path too us now. Read More...

A new cut of the Fallout 76 gameplay reveal from E3 is here and it gives us another look at the West Virginia of Fallout 76 and its creatures It is time to get excited and then let down a bit here for Fallout 76 as we do have a new trailer to look at for the game. It is a look at the West Virginia that Bethesda is putting together in the wastes of the franchise and how we will be interacting in it. Not too shabby. The letdown comes in now for those few out there who were under a rock when they showed us this version of the lands in Fallout 76 during their E3 media event. Read More...

A new trailer for The Sinking City is here to give us a bit of a look at the madness within as well as a release date for The Sinking City One of the titles I was sorry to miss out on at E3 this year had to be The Sinking City. It may look and be another Lovecraftian story or tale to add into the mix of the many coming out, but it looks like Frogwares is crafting something many of us can get behind and see is truly weird out there. That and it looks like The Sinking City will be missing the mark of all of the other titles in the same vein by launching on March 21st of next year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Thankfully it is also not another of those many February releases that are all the rage as of late. Read More...

The release date for Life Is Strange 2’s first episode has been set and we will be playing more than a demo for Life Is Strange 2 soon While we all may be playing the demo for Captain Spirit right now, we may have also missed that Life Is Strange 2 is heavily linked to it in some way and now we know that it will not be a huge wait to see how that is. That is, DontNod has not only released the new title there but also set down a firm release date for the first episode of the core game to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We can now look to September 27th to get the first episode of Life Is Strange 2 to carry on the story and see how this world is getting further expanded out there. Read More...
