Accept The Invitation For Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong

Vampire

A new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is out there to bring us all deeper into the world of Vampire: The Masquerade

After quite a bit of wait, we are back with something new for the previously announced Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong. Yet another in the growing list of World Of Darkness titles that are getting a release in the 2020 to 2021 range. Also, another title we can add to the long list of platforms with this one hitting the PS4, PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X when it does come. Awfully nice of Big Bad Wolf to try to be as inclusive as possible on this one. Soon all of the Vampire: The Masquerade fans will have so much of the digital game to play we will not know what to do with ourselves. But I digress as we now have another trailer to look at to get a feel for the game a bit more.

Well, more of a feel for the story of Swansong as it does not do much in terms of how this narrative RPG will actually handle. It does give us a bit of how this story will fit into the lore of Vampire: The Masquerade, though, as it looks like we are in Boston after a big event that has gone south. We will be taking up the role of one of three different vampires along the way to try to figure out who massacred everyone you are going to see in the following trailer. All while going down some branching narratives and darker places that Vampire: The Masquerade generally goes. It may not be gameplay, but it made me just as excited as I was before. Have a look and see what I mean.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong — The Invitation

Tonight, everything changes. Join us, as we celebrate the unification of Boston and Hartford. As we revolutionize our blood supply. Tonight we celebrate, and tonight everything changes… Just not in the way we expected.

Embrace the role of three vampires, each belonging to a different clan of the Camarilla. Weave between their intertwined stories, unravel fact from fiction and make choices that will define the future of the city of Boston.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is coming to Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2021.
