Remothered
Remothered: Broken Porcelain is now aiming for an October release date as the team needs a little more time for this chapter of the Remothered story
During the big reveals and drops of all the video games back in June, we had new gameplay for Remothered: Broken Porcelain drop on us and the release date set for August 25th. It was nice to see given all of the delays and pushes we have had as of late. Sadly, it looks like Stormind Games and Modus Games were not immune to all of this as we have a delay to report now. Now it looks like Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 20th now. A bit more fitting for the style of game this is but a delay nonetheless that we have to worry about.
All of this comes down as the Remothered team needs a bit more time to make sure that the game will hold up to the other chapters in the franchise so far. Nothing too specific besides the usual "polish" needing to be added to the game, but given that it will add another horror title to the growing list of Halloween titles, it will be something I will take. Sure, I would love to be playing this part of Remothered right now but I will always hold out for a better title instead of a rushed one. You can see where the game is at right now with the released gameplay and then read the full announcement just below.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain — Gameplay
A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of showcasing a first look at the gameplay of Remothered: Broken Porcelain during GamesRadar’s Future Games Show where we revealed that the game would be releasing on August 25.
However, after much consideration, we have reached a decision with Darril Arts and Stormind Games to delay Remothered: Broken Porcelain’s release to October 20th this year.
We are incredibly excited to invite you into this wonderfully realized chapter of the Remothered story, but it’s important that we deliver the experience you deserve. Having additional time for polish and to accommodate unanticipated longer timeframes due to the current global situation will help us do exactly that.
This also means that you’ll be able to explore the Ashmann Inn for the very first time during the spookiest time of the year, Halloween!
We cannot thank you enough for your patience and enthusiasm for Remothered: Broken Porcelain. We look forward to seeing your reactions when you play the game later this year.
Did you expect to see that this Remothered title was going to get hit with delays or did you think the August date was rock solid? How much more do you suspect we will enjoy all of this during the season of fear and will it make your list too? Will this build further into a larger title release in the future or will that need to be seen in the future? Let us and the world know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Remothered: Broken Porcelain, we will do our best to bring it all to you here. Be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much more.
