Jason West and Vince Zampella are two industry leaders who brought the amazing Call of Duty franchise to homes everywhere. Now brushing off the dust from a rumor filled departure, Jason and Vince have founded Respawn Entertainment. The website is up and running, and probably the simplest website in the world. Review: Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon
by Michael Camacho [ Friday, 9th of April 2010 - 09:22 PM ]
Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, developed by Namco and localized by XSeed Games, is an interesting game. I felt like I was playing an anime with many Japanese RPG elements infused within. Fragile Dreams is about a young boy named Seto, who is on a quest to find others in the world after nearly everyone has disappeared. After coming in contact with a young girl named Ren, she runs off and he is on a quest to find her and hopefully others. Early on in his journey he finds a Personal Frame Unit that is a talking backpack, and helps guide Seto through many of his trials and tribulations. Read More…

This week, AggroGamer will be presenting a review for Dark Void, for a new series entitled, "Games You Missed, Which Might Not Be a Bad Thing." The first title to get this treatment will be the action title Dark Void that was developed by Airtight Games and published by Capcom for the PS3, 360 and PC on January 19, 2010. In the meantime, the more well received iteration of the game, Dark Void Zero will be headed to the iPhone and PC. by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 7th of April 2010 - 03:00 PM ]
With E3 slowly getting closer and closer, a surprise announcement last week from Microsoft will kick E3 off early on a Sunday for Project Natal. Not to be left behind, today Sony has told everyone to Save The Date for June 15th in Los Angeles, CA as to when they will be revealing their latest stuff this year. With Microsoft and Sony all set with their conference date it is all up for Nintendo to inform us when they will be holding their conference so we all can see their latest handheld, the 3DS. My Take: I wonder what they will reveal at the conference this year. Read More…

Clash Of The Titans Is Clashing Against Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of April 2010 - 11:14 PM ]
I find it a little odd, yet a little relieving, that the game based on the recent release of Clash Of The Titans isn't hitting shelves for another two months. Really odd as most of the time the licencors want a game to hit along side the release of a movie. Which generally leads to rushing and piss poor work being slopped out there to make a buck or two. Look at most of the movie based games out there and you will see this is the case. It's part of the reason this "genre" of game sucks monkey nipples. Read More…

Mini Review: Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of April 2010 - 06:34 PM ]
This review has a few spoilers for Resident Evil 5 in it. This DLC takes place near the end of the game and talks about some major story parts. If you have yet to play Resident Evil 5 all the way through, you have been warned. Just when you think you have seen all you have of Resident Evil 5, Capcom adds in yet more to the story. Well at least they expand on the story by showing you what some of the other characters were up to while Chris and Sheva were off saving the world from the Zompocalypse. This time around, it is what happened to Josh, Sheva's militant mentor, and Jill Valentine, after you emancipate her from Wesker's mind control. Read More…

iPad Is For Gaming
by Corey Dockendorf [ Friday, 2nd of April 2010 - 03:14 PM ]
The iPad as you have heard is being released April 3rd, 2010. The lines at the Apple store will be ridiculous, Apple is already struggling against the demand, and Steve Jobs is in a chair somewhere sitting in the dark watching his Apple TV and laughing at all the money he is making this weekend. As I have stated in previous articles, the iPhone format has already paved the way for more powerful mobile gaming, but now with the iPad (a larger iPhone) gamers can utilize the larger screen size and have a truly unique gaming experience. I bring this up because with the information overload about the iPad, EA and 2K Games have stated that they will be updating there iPhone games to be optimized for the iPad. EA's Command&Conquer: Red Alert and 2K's Civilization: Revolution are two very popular titles but are limited by the screen size of the iPhone. Read More…

Metroid Other M For Mouth Watering
by Andy [ Thursday, 1st of April 2010 - 10:24 PM ]
We have been waiting nearly a year now since the game was announced at E3 last year to see anything substantial from Metroid: Other M. Well we wait no more. Below is a new trailer that shows everything from cinematics to gameplay to control structure. Kind of a nice big reveal for everything surrounding Metroid: Other M. I do have issues believing that this game is on the Wii juist because of how nice everything looks. I mean look at the in-game action and tell me that doesn't look like something the Wii would never be able to pump out. Read More…

by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 1st of April 2010 - 08:08 PM ]
Here we are again, on this Internet filled April Fools day. I'm sure you've probably killed your morning already looking at all the gags on all the websites from Gmail to Kodak. So while your already not working anyways, here are some games in Adobe Flash to contribute to your lack of work today. I thought to really add some flair, I would post games that only use the mouse to play! (I didn't want to make you work) Tactical Assassin This is an awesome first person shooter from Simon Hason and Negative Flash. Read More…
