CCP has decided that it was finally going to release their 13th free expansion for the PC Gamers 2009 MMO of the Year with Eve-Online: Tyannis. With this new expansion users will have a new level of control as the pilots of EVE have turned their attentions to the celestial bodies around them; Casting surface inhabitants into the shadows for their powerful ships while exploiting the planets for their materials and profits they need to fuel countless ambitions. EVE Gate, a new social networking platform for Eve-Online, is a leap forward in extending the universe outside the game, letting players access in-game mail, features and to bring the community closer.
EVE-Online Senior Producer, Torfi Frans Olafasson explains, “Having watched EVE grow for seven years, we've found it make the game an order of magnitude more interesting when we give more power to the players.
