Another New Title Has Been Announced For The PS4; Without Memory
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Developer Dinosaurum Games has announced their next title for the PS4 called Without Memory and uses the Unreal Engine 4 There have been a lot of game announcements recently just days before the kickoff of E3 and here we go with another one with Without Memory. This is coming from Dinosaurum Games exclusively on the PS4 and using the Unreal Engine 4 sometime in Q2 2016. Yea, that is a ways off but it has been at least announced and sounds rather ambitious for what looks like the studio's first title. Here's what we have been told thus far outside of the exclusivity. Crytek Announces A New IP — HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Crytek USA Corp. has announced their debut title HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age coming to PC and consoles It is really shaping up to be very few new IPs announced at E3 as HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age joins the list and this time it is from Crytek. They are both developing and publishing this title as well. The idea behind HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age is that you and your merry band of hunters in the 1800's are out to keep the world free of all of the myths and folklore hiding in the world. You know all the things that 'normies' don't see or want to see. Read More…

Batman: Arkham Knight Has Been Pushed Back But Look At The Batmobile
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Have a look at the new 'Battle Mode' for Batman: Arkham Knight's Batmobile and be sad that the game has been delayed until 2015 sometime Looks like we get to add Batman: Arkham Knight to the list of delayed games with something exclusive to show at E3 here next week. In this case it is the new "Battle Mode" for the Batmobile and all of the insanity that is packed inside of armored beast. Oh, and also there are a few new in-game shots for the game that shows off Batman's ride a bit more as well as Batman doing what he does best; kicking ass and chewing gum except Batman doesn't like gum… Or was it Batman doesn't like guns? I could have sworn that was the case but it looks like the new Batmobile has helped the Caped Crusader over that hatred and into love with them in Batman: Arkham Knight. Read More…

Knowing that we can rest assured that it is going to look absolutely spectacular if you have the system to run it. As Suspected… Mortal Kombat X Is Now Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The countdown is over and Mortal Kombat X has been officially announced with a trailer and a few bits on gameplay After weeks of teasing and many "leaks" it looks like we got what was "promised" as Mortal Kombat X has now been fully announced. It even has a nice pre-rendered trailer to go along with it. At least it is assumed to be pre-rendered but the fact that it looks to be using the Unreal Engine 4 as a base and planned for the PS4, XB1, and PC as well as the "last gen" consoles, it might not be out of the realm of possibilities for it to be real time footage. Doubtful, but possible. Read More…

This Week In Gaming 5/27/14 — 5/30/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of May 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. As we are heading into E3 here it is surprising how many game announcements or updates in the world of gaming there have been. Even with the short week here in the States it has been crazy busy in terms of keeping up with everything going on. Are the developers or publishers keeping anything hidden for the convention coming up here? If they are not keeping the gaming announcements quiet then I hope that means more on the floor to actually play. Read More…

Peek Behind The Shroud Of Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary has been released for Murdered: Soul Suspect giving a bit of perspective on the dev's ideas Just in time to wrap up the PR train before launch, we have a new developer diary for Murdered: Soul Suspect. Part one of four if the YouTube descriptions are on par. This time around we still don't get much more that hasn't been discussed main times over in the past year. It could be that this is part one and the rest of the ideas that were used are still being saved until after launch but don't expect to hear anything that a basic web search could give you for Murdered: Soul Suspect. Don't fret though, while there isn't anything new in the way of behind the scenes for Murdered: Soul Suspect we do happen to have another 25 minute block of gameplay that picks up where the last bit left off. Have A Better Look At The Updated Family Life In Metro Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new set of screen shots for Metro Redux have been released showing off the amazing upgrades for Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light A little over a week ago we got details for Metro Redux with a nice trailer showing off Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light running at 60 FPS. As I am sure we will most likely be seeing some hands on time with the collection at E3 coming up here it is not too surprising that we are getting a few new screen shots from the upcoming re-releases. There is no telling if these are PC, XB1, or PS4 shots but they do look damned pretty. Have a look and maybe you can tell the scenes from which title that is included in Metro Redux. Read More…

This is all in physical form for both the PS4 and XB1 for all three and also the PS3 and 360 for the titles that have yet to have a physical disc for those consoles. Read More…

Let's Get Teased For Quantum Break As There Is Nothing More Until Gamescom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Remedy Entertainment has given us a tease for Quantum Break with nothing more coming until Gamescom in August So everyone seems to be announcing everything just before E3 or, in the case of Quantum Break, telling us that there will be nothing new until a later date. In the case of Quantum Break that would happen to be Gamescom in August this year. Not too far off but for us State-side that means that most of us will have to be remote to see what Remedy has up their sleeves for us for the game. On the plus side we do have a bit of a tease for what will be shown off for Quantum Break in August. Read More…

The Next Hitman Title Won't Be At E3 But We Have Some Art None The Less
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Looks like the next Hitman will be absent from E3 but rest assured that the team is working hard to give us what we want I am really getting tired of all this good news and bad news stuff and it looks like the next Hitman title is another culprit here. The bad news here is that there is nothing new for the next title in the franchise to show off at E3 here in a few weeks. No new trailer. No new gameplay mechanics. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been officially announced that PlayStation owners will be getting Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare this coming August Originally there was a rumor being spread that Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare was finally making the jump to the PlayStation platform. EA was tweeting out mock images of PlayStation owned franchises with the PvZ twist to them but then left everything to speculation. The internet being the internet totally began the speculation and made the short leap of logic that this was some form of announcement that Garden Warfare was on its way to the PS4 and PS3. Here are those images just so you can see and make the simple leap of logic that people were at one point claiming some pretty outlandish ideas about Plants Vs. Read More…

Unless he is trolling us all it looks pretty confirmed. We'll know for sure next week when his countdown ends. Read More…
