Mafia 3
Another fifteen minutes of Mafia 3 gameplay has been shown at Gamescom and TGS and we have that Mafia 3 gameplay right here for you
In just about two weeks we are going to be getting Mafia 3 on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It's crazy to think that the date is approaching that fast and I bet Hangar 13 is going a little mad with anticipation given the October 7th release date. Of course that also means more of 2K Games promoting Mafia 3 as they have been for the last few months and showing off little bits of gameplay. Some small and just for the web and some rather huge for gaming conventions and showcases. Here we go with a new big bit of gameplay though given all of the smaller ones we've had for quite some time.
This new huge bit of gameplay for Mafia 3 comes right out of Gamescom and TGS where it was being used to 'wow' the fans who happened to come by and check it all out. If it was anything like E3 then people could have easily been in line for almost an hour to see what they had to offer that was not yet shown to the world. Just be glad that we have the information age going on right now and we can all have a look at the footage even if it is a little bit after the main events that housed it all. A few weeks isn't all that much I guess.
Of course there are a few story spoilers here for Mafia 3 as it does show Lincoln taking down one of the under-bosses of the mafia. Even though Hangar 13 has cut it all to only show enough to keep the context I figured it is needed to let you know there are still a few bits you may not want to see. For those who will be missing out here though it does look like Mafia 3 is going to have door bashing system that is a bit of a QTE for Lincoln to bash his way into places. Not a huge thing here but it is shown here for the first time I have seen so you can know it is coming when the game finally launches.
Mafia 3 — Gamescom Gameplay
In this extended Mafia 3 gameplay demo from Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, Lincoln Clay takes out one of Sal Marcano’s underbosses, Tony Derazio. On Oct. 7, you will complete these missions any way you want.
What do you think of the new gameplay for Mafia 3 that we have here? Do you think that there could have been a stealthier way that things could have played out or will we always have to turn to guns and explosives? How hard do you think the door smash will be to master here? Let us know your thoughts and feel free to discuss in the comments below. For more on Mafia 3 as it comes before the game's launch, be sure to stay right here as we'll keep the news flowing out as we get it all. I'm not sure what else there could be but we'll have it when it comes.
