Wait…We Will Get To Play As Boxman With The Evil Within's Season Pass?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Looks like there will be a season pass for The Evil Within giving us a few interesting ways to play the game When it comes to season passes for games The Evil Within doesn't seem like it would be a title that would have a need for one. Granted, that is looking at most season passes as multiplayer add-ons for games or bonus maps for said multiplayer but that isn't the case here. Don't think that some form of multiplayer has been shoe horned in for The Evil Within when it wouldn't be needed nor wanted for the horror experience. It is all story or mission based content planned to roll out after the October launch. Read More…

Have A Look At How Terrifying Alien Isolation Is Trying To Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new CGI trailer for Alien Isolation has been released from Gamescom showing off the terror that Creative Assembly is aiming for There shouldn't be any mistake in knowing that Alien Isolation is being slated more to the horror and suspense side of the franchise than the pure action schlop we've been getting. I've played through a bit of the game at conventions past and while it is now Silent Hills teaser it is a down right suspenseful title. At least that is the case based on the little bit I have played for Alien Isolation but I am sure that SEGA and Creative Assembly want to instill that fear that the franchise had so long ago. So… Rise Of The Tomb Raider May Not Be An Xbox Exclusive Forever
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
In a recent interview Phil Spencer confirmed that the exclusivity deal for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has a time limit During the recent Microsoft press event at Gamescom it was claimed that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was going to be an exclusive for Xbox next year. This of course upset A LOT of gamers out there, like me, who fell in love with how Crystal Dynamics gave the franchise a re-boot. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was the first retail game I purchased for my PS4. Well it would seem that during a recent interview from Phil Spencer this exclusivity may not be forever based on the deal Microsoft and Square Enix struck. Read More…

If You Haven't Had A Chance To See/Play P.T. Here's What It Is About
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
During Sony's press event at Gamescom 2014 a new IP called P.T. was announced but it was more a tease for Silent Hills Talk about a thrilling and scary title here with P.T. from 7780s Studio. Or as we should all better know it now as Playable Teaser from Kojima Productions. Or as we should all know it even better as Silent Hills from said studio with Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus attached to it as well. Although at its core it is one of the best ways to announce a new title coming to the PS4 from all those great minds and talent. If you have yet to play through the P. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming It sure feels like this week has been one big tease for gaming news. Yes there were a few new items out there and such but it really felt like there was a lot "here's something but you have to wait for the full thing still." I hate teases. Especially when they lead to a whole lot of nothing and waiting for weeks to pass by. Nothing worse for us in the gaming world is there? Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty. It's been years in the remaking so let's see how the game holds up after all of this time I remember almost 17 years ago when Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee first arrived on my PS1. I marveled at the game's graphics and had a blast playing through the game from start to finish. Now we have the opportunity to play through once again in Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty on the PS4 and other platforms to come. Is it worth the remake or should Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants just left alone and not made Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty? Read More…
