Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when we think it was not going to be over, we get to wrap one more week in all of these video games out there. That does not discount titles like Hood and Twin Mirror that we also saw this week with our plethora of reviews again. Review — Spirit Of The North: Enhanced Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of December 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Observer We sit down and review Spirit Of The North. A journey through the Icelandic lands for a new generation. Here is our review of Spirit Of The North It has been a while since Spirit Of The North first released and some of us out there had a chance to experience it. It is a very atmospheric title that has us solving puzzles along with some beautiful landscapes. Something that Infuse Studio set out to make look just as pretty as it was engaging. Since then, we have seen the launch of the PS5 and that means that things could be getting prettier and we have a new reason to check back in on the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of December 2020 - 06:00 PM ]
Immortals Immortals Fenyx Rising launches this week and we have a deeper dive into what Immortals Fenyx Rising will bring soon It is hard to believe that Immortals Fenyx Rising is just about to launch here this week, December 3rd, and it feels like we do not know too much about it. Maybe this is by design from Ubisoft or maybe it is just the timing of its release and all of the other titles coming out that everyone has been waiting for. No matter the case, Immortals Fenyx Rising is about to be here and we have a little more time to dive into the game. Although, the game does look like it will be a bit of the straightforward type when it comes to open-worlds but with some extra fun with the Gods again. Read More...

Review — Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We sit down and review Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The next in the line will take us to a time that feels redacted. Here is our review of this Call Of Duty It is that time of year again, and I am not talking about the over-indulging of foodstuffs time, but it is time for the next Call Of Duty title to come out here and keep us all in the hands of Activision just a bit longer. As long as they and the developer of the cycle, Treyarch this time, keep bringing us quality gameplay we will keep playing it all. Now we get to dive back into a version of the game that comes with all of the multiplayer gameplay as usual, but also a solid campaign that will take us into an era that generally is quiet in entertainment. Ryte: The Eye Of Atlantis Will Have Us Diving Through Time Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Ryte A new Myst inspired title, Ryte: The Eye Of Atlantis, is coming to Steam VR with Ryte taking us all down a virtual rabbit hole based in myth Long ago were the times that we had the fun of point-and-click with Myst and on December 8th we are going to get something close to it again when Ryte: The Eye Of Atlantis launches in the VR space. Yes, this does shake up the core gameplay element that we mentioned before with the other title but it looks like Orichalcum Pictures has more in mind than bringing back a classic franchise in a different form. To be clear, Ryte is not based in that other universe but just uses the game mechanic ideas to tell a different story and dive into some different times that we could be wanting through Steam VR. Immortals Fenyx Rising Gameplay Gives Us A Little More Of The World On The Next-Gen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of November 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Immortals New gameplay for Immortals Fenyx Rising is here to show off just how Immortals could look when it hits the PS5 Here we go with a little more for Immortals Fenyx Rising to get us all amped up for the title when it hits on December 3rd. As if Ubisoft did not have a whole lot going for it right now, we have this title hitting so soon after the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X while also hitting the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and various PC outlets. For now, though, we will ignore the older systems and focus in on how Immortals Fenyx Rising is going to look when it hits the next-gen systems. Something that feels a little off to say given the cartoonish style that the game has, but it is some new gameplay to look at for it all. Read More...
