I SAW What Game Konami Wanted To Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2009 - 09:21 PM ]
Will Saw be Konami's second great horror franchise? (Plus, first screenshots) This title has been on and off just as much as Ross Perot was in the 1992 ellection. In fact there have been a total of three articles on this site talking about where it is in the process and who has been working on it. Well for you fans of the films and maybe fans of the game, I have some good news for you. Not to mention screens shots to add as well. Konami has picked up the rights to this publish this game, which is actually being designed and developed by Zombie Studios. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of March 2009 - 05:43 PM ]
Scratch: The Ultimate DJ Game Trailer Now that we have all had a chance to perfect Guitar Hero or Rock Band, here starts the next new wave of at home rhythm games to get us all itching to be the best. Also to hit that market that has yet to be tapped, those people that prefer rap and hip hop over rock and metal. Or just hook us weirdoes up with all genres, 'cause that is just how some of us elite rhythm gamers roll. And keep rollin' rollin' rollin'. Read More...

"There's Something In The Sea"
by Sam [ Saturday, 7th of March 2009 - 12:02 AM ]
Take-Two has just released a teaser website for Bioshock 2: Sea or Dreams and are going around town putting up weird posters on the streets to advertise the website, which can be found here.Picture provided by Kotaku reader Dominique:Though the site is new, there isn't much too see on there. You can see a picture of the big daddy doll that was shown in the first teaser trailer of the game, a picture of an "average mens shoe" on the beach and local newspaper articles such as one from February 20th, 1967 titled "LOCAL GIRL VANISHES IN MYSTERIOUS ATTACK" which should give some kind of hint about what to expect in the upcoming game.Still more updates to come. Hopefully we'll get an insight of what to expect in the game or maybe some actual gameplay soon. Read More...

Screen Shots Set To Stun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of February 2009 - 06:11 PM ]
New Screens For Star Trek Online There has been some more screen shots released into the wild for our consumption for Cryptic's new game Star Trek Online. Nothing really all that ground breaking except for the fact that there are a few more shots that are not of the space scenes of the game. Something that has been kind of rare from the past shots that have snuck out into the wild. I am still kind of curious on exactly how this game will actually look during play. These shots, much like the ones in the past, look a lot like concept shots, but then you can also see how they could be shots from the game. Read More...

In An Underwater City Far Far Away...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of January 2009 - 06:08 PM ]
Bioshock can 'do a Star Wars', says 2K boss So one thing I hate to see in a franchise, be it a Movie, TV, or Video Game one, is when they make such a huge hit with the first one that they turn around and churn out loads of crap to try and make a quick buck while the franchise is still in the height of popularity. I won't disagree that it isn't a bad way to make money. People will shell out for a sequel thinking it will be as good as the first. Read More...

Challenging BioShock
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of November 2008 - 10:10 PM ]
BioShock PS3 DLC Surfaces Tomorrow So tomorrow, November 20th, those of us that have picked up the PS3 version of BioShock are getting a nice little treat. Exclusive added content for the game on the PSN. The add on is listed below. But there is one thing I find a little off, at least for me, the price point for PS3 users to get this new content. While PS3 BioShock owners will get access to the stuff that was given away to PC and XBox players, these 3 new challenge rooms come for a $10 fee. Might not sound too high, but it is only three new little sections for the game. Read More...

But they also let it be known that there will not be such a great delay in platforms that it will be coming out on. What does that mean? Read More...

PS3 owners who have already beaten Bioshock will unlock the teaser trailer for Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams, coming sometime in the distant future. The video starts off with a little sister, who doesn't seem to be little anymore, holding what would appear to be a Big Daddy Doll staring at the Atlantic Coast. Check out the shaky, crappy quality video below. Read More...

The Punisher: No Mercy Coming Exclusively to PSN So there was a tease a week ago on the Marvel site about something with the Punisher franchise. I wasn't too sure what to make of it until I spotted this on the Playstation Blog this morning. There is going to be a PSN exclusive all about the Punisher called, Punisher: No Mercy. Totally awesome. From what they have released, so far, it is a FPS all driven through the Unreal Engine. Read More...

PS3 Gets A Shocking!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of August 2008 - 08:51 PM ]
BioShock Dated And Given Extras So those of you who have heard the hype about Bioshock but were too lazy to get it on the PC or XBox, or only have a PS3, you might have known that it was getting a PS3 release. Well, today it was dated for the gaming world. That's right, the 21st of October. Not bad timing, except that Dead Space is coming out around the same time. But I doubt that will hurt them any. Especially with the extras being offered for the new PS3 version of the game. Read More...

Set Phasers To MMO
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of July 2008 - 08:59 PM ]
Star Trek Online So I frequent the Cryptic Studios stuff now and again, forums and booths at conventions. Hell, on Saturday, I even went to their VIP party for City of Heroes players and Devs. Please don't ask how it was. But this was something that kind of caught me off guard. In fact, I didn't know it was under their belt until today when they turned on their interwebs for the game sit and posted screen shots. The game? Well the title said it, Star Trek Online. by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2008 - 05:47 PM ]
Audiofurf is one of the best selling games according to Steam and Valve Valve sent over a press release on my favorite game Audiosurf. Don't forget our interview with Audiosurf just in case you missed it.
