Did Batman: Arkham Knight Get Accidentally Spoiled?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Looks like one of the pre-order bonuses for Batman: Arkham Knight might have spoiled the game's ending on accident If you don't want any bit of Batman: Arkham Knight spoiled for you then you might want to stop reading. Who am I kidding though? You already clicked in with the given title so you are ready to find out how Batman: Arkham Knight's story and conclusion may have been spoiled almost half a year before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The worst part behind it, if it is true then it isn't any crazy slip by Rocksteady or Warner Bros. but via the Limited Edition bundle of the game and Amazon having amazing images for the bundle. Where & When Would You Like Far Cry To Be Set Next?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A test market survey for Far Cry from Ubisoft was sent out and it alludes to other options that we may see for the franchise moving forward Marketing surveys can be fun and in the case of the most recent one for Far Cry from Ubisoft it looks like the fun doesn't stop. In fact it flows and has now added all kinds of speculation to the future of the franchise that they are still doing extremely well with. At least last I checked Far Cry 4 was still one of their top selling titles from last year but the video game industry can be a fickle bitch. Enough of that and let's see what we can maybe look forward to in Far Cry's future. Read More...

New Year And New Things To Do In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
There is a New Year's trailer for Dying Light and we have a bit more gameplay and features shown off with it It's a new year and it is time for some new stuff for Dying Light. Well at least in a fun little way of New Year's resolutions and a bit of extra gameplay. We are now under a month from release of Dying Light so hopefully we are going to get something to add to the parkour zombie killing fun coming to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If we are to speculate on the following trailer we could be getting some simple little side games outside of the core. If the above image and the following trailer are to be believed for Dying Light then are we going to get some fishing action in the mix? Read More...

This Is What The Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta Looks Like
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
New screenshots for the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta on the Xbox One have been placed online for those who are not in the beta yet If you are part of the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta then none of what you are about to see is going to be all that exciting. In fact you may want to move on as you have seen all of the footage live and in play already; hopefully. For everyone else then we have a bunch of new screenshots from 343 Industries to show everyone who has yet to pre-order Halo 5: Guardians or turned on the beta what they may be missing out on. Although it seems odd to think that anyone who would have access to the Halo 5: Guardians would not have been balls deep in it just yet… To be honest it looks just as we all would have thought Halo 5: Guardians to have looked. In fact if you direct your gaze down below you will be able to see all of those variant Steelbook covers for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Could Final Fantasy XV Have Online Components?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Speculation over Final Fantasy XV having online game components have arisen based on a job posting from Square Enix So it may be a bit of a stretch but it looks like the latest in Final Fantasy XV speculation is that there will be some kind of online component for the game. This all comes from Anime News Network scrounging for anything based on a job posting from Square Enix directly. It is a contract job that sounds pretty much like someone who would be needed to keep the web based interactions, like the Facebook notifications, flowing but others have chosen to dig in deeper with a meaning that most likely will never see the light of day on the PS4 and Xbox One. If this isn't for just some kind of social aspect for Final Fantasy XV it could be looked at as something to do with DLC or micro-transactions of some sort. Read More...

Resident Evil Zero HD REmaster Could Be In The Pipes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Capcom may have accidentally leaked that Resident Evil Zero HD REmaster is in the works via the pre-order bonus for Resident Evil HD REmaster update If the image is correct then it looks like Resident Evil Zero HD REmaster may be the next title in the works from Capcom getting the full HD upgrade. This of course comes from an update to the pre-order page for Resident Evil HD REmaster where the developer/publisher wanted to show off the cool theme you can get for your PS4 if you pre-order before the January 13th 2015 release date in Japan. Make that date January 20th and you'll have the NA release date for those who were wondering. Any-who, some eagle eyed people who don't work for Capcom in Japan caught a small glimpse on the theme image that wasn't supposed to be released into the wild. Read More...

Being Chicken In Metal Gear Solid V Can Be A Bonus In Disguise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of December 2014 - 10:01 PM ]
Over the Christmas holiday it was announced that there will be a chicken hat addition to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to make the game easier for those having trouble If you are a huge fan of Metal Gear Solid and looking forward to Metal Gear Solid V then you were probably one of those people who sat around with Hideo Kojima on Christmas day while he opened presents, talked films, and then trolled everyone looking for a release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. To be fair, you all should have been having a good time with your families instead of watching someone who's culture doesn't celebrate the holiday do what he does best. That would be giving you just a little bit of something new so you don't loathe him but not really give you a thing you really want. Read More...

Not Everyone Will Be Summoning In Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
New Final Fantasy XV screenshots and battle system details have emerged that explain that only Noctis will be able to use summons If reports are correct then the current state of the Final Fantasy XV will have it so only one of the party can call upon summons during battle. That character being Noctis and those reports coming out of an interview between Famitsu and game director Hajime Tabata. Of course this isn't too strange given the past of the Final Fantasy franchise as having only one character be able to summon isn't new. So there is not that when it comes to all things Final Fantasy XV when we look at the battle systems. Read More...

You Can Only Cross-Buy Resident Evil HD REmaster For A Short Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
If you want Resident Evil HD REmaster as a PS3/PS4 cross-buy you better act fast as there is a catch If you've been waffling over which system to pick up Resident Evil HD REmaster, the PS3 or PS4, then Capcom has something to help decide. If you pre-order the game right now you can get it for both systems for the price of just getting it once. Granted it makes sense that you would pick up Resident Evil HD REmaster on the PS4 due to the power that console adds but for those who may still be clinging to the PS3 or just got the PS4 upgrade for the holidays then you can get the game without worry of needing to re-purchase. Although that logic seems a bit flawed; whatever… Sadly this is only in the North American region for now so sorry to all those outside the region who wanted Resident Evil HD REmaster as a cross buy.
