by Greg Tatterfield [ Friday, 7th of September 2012 - 05:14 PM ]
Ubisoft has released a new trailer in their game play series for Far Cry 3. Part 2 of the survival guide sheds even more light on the games’ characters and story. Vass, which was mentioned in the first trailer, is revealed to be a drug addict and the leader of a group of black market pirates. Vaas also grows drugs and kidnaps hostages. It seems that Vaas is the person who may be holding Jason Brody’s friends. Other interesting features revealed in the trailer include making your own medicine out of wide array of ingredients found around the island, crafting and hunting to make money to buy new weapons and upgrades and gambling if earning money is not your thing. Ubisoft wanted to prove that you can still play through Blacklist using stealth like you played through every other game. Even with the ramped up action and lack of shadows the game still holds true to the series focus of stealth. The game finds the perfect balance between stealth and action. Read More...

by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 30th of August 2012 - 10:19 PM ]
Ubisoft has released a new trailer outlining the ways you may survive on the Rook Islands in Far Cry 3. The trailer shows some pretty crazy stuff such as exploring ancient temples and fighting off tigers and other wild animals. The trailer also sheds some light on the story and characters. by Matt Waitt [ Thursday, 30th of August 2012 - 06:26 PM ]
Since Borderlands 2 is coming out in just over a few weeks, I felt it would be good to give you guys the low down and all the info that we know about Borderlands 2. First off, let's start with the classes; we got four new classes to choose from: Characters: Salvador (The Gunzerker) is "about as subtle, classy, and sane as one would imagine a native of Pandora to be. Which is to say: not at all. He loves blowing people up, getting paid, and laughing incessantly at the violence that surrounds him. Read More...

A Few Inside Looks At Assassin's Creed III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of August 2012 - 11:11 PM ]
So about two weeks ago we were given a look at Assassin's Creed III's Naval Combat, but we didn't get many details on what is going on and what we will get to control. More or less it was a showing that just further confirmed what was announced at E3. If you venture a little bit lower here, you will see a similar video as before, only this time with a little bit of explanation. I do mean little though. If you have a few minutes take a listen to Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director, as he explains some of the weapons and events that were going on in the last video as well as what we have to look forward to. Grand Theft Auto V New Screenshots
by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 23rd of August 2012 - 05:19 PM ]
Rockstar has reveled some new screenshots for their next big crime epic Grand Theft Auto V. Very little is known about the game relating to story details and characters. What we do know though is the game takes place in Los Santos which is a fictional version of Los Angeles. If you all remember this was one city that was featured in 2004's San Andreas. Los Santos was also accompanied by fictional versions of San Francisco and Las Vegas though it is unknown at this point if they will be returning in Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar has been keeping Grand Theft Auto V information scarce since the games announcement and has not even given a release date. Read More...

The Problems With Exclusives
by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 21st of August 2012 - 05:40 PM ]
Have you ever missed out on a hot new release game because you didn’t own the right console? It has probably happened to all of us one time or another due to a console exclusive. Console exclusives act as an ace in the hole for most companies when they market a console. This is a very common trend in the game industry that hurts not only the consumer but also the developers. By only releasing on one console its locks out the other half of gamers who only may own one console and limits the sale margin for said game. Console exclusives isolate the gaming community by splitting it in half. Read More...

Cat Woman Joins The Cast Of Injustice: Gods Among Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2012 - 10:14 PM ]
Well this was pretty much expected. Cat Woman has just been confirmed as a new playable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us and below is a video showcasing what she can do and take in the game. As is to be expected she is fast, agile and able to whip the other characters from DC universe into shape. That is if she is not trying to kill them with cheesy one-liners of the feline nature instead. I will say that I am a bit curious by the fact that she has an RPG as an attack in the game given all of the other things they could have used. Read More...

Remember When Remember Me Was Announced? Or Did You?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2012 - 04:21 PM ]
So here's another new IP announcement that came out of Gamescom. Remember Me is a new game coming out of Dontnod Entertainment and Capcom that looks a lot like Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex all mixed in with Inception. I'm talking the game play of those game titles and the messing with people's thoughts to manipulate their actions from the film. Hopefully that paints a decent picture in your head about it. If not, of course you can look below for a better version. Read More...
