It has just been announced that we will be getting Resident Evil on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We're talking the original Resident Evil here Just in case you may have missed out on the original Resident Evil the umpteen times it has been given the HD remastered feel, we are getting a new version of the game for the PS3, PS4, XB1, 360, and PC. Pretty much all of the platforms that were left out when the latest Resident Evil HD remaster came out for the Wii and then some. Ubisoft announced Assassin's Creed Rogue today with a CG trailer and a few interesting details A little while back it was rumored that Assassin's Creed Rogue was going to be the last of the franchise on the "last gen" consoles. Well at least that was all based on an online gaming store's slip of showing the pre-order a bit early. We wondered what it would be like to enter into the Borderlands and Nerdist gave us that chance with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Las Tag at SDCC San Diego Comic Con was not only filled with gaming/geek news this year but it was also filled with loads of amazing experiences to promote and excite fans all around. Especially since Escape Dead Island seems to be taking the amazing universe and changing a lot of the mechanics that we are used to and changing them or removing them to fit this new take on Dead Island. A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing off all of the facets of the combat system for the game It seems odd to keep talking about it as we've seen it many times before but here is some more on the combat system in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It really seems like BioWare is insanely proud of this system as it is being pushed more than the great story that I've been hearing for the game and other great features. I guess since it is looking like the best version of a D&D video game combat system it is something to be proud of. The extended trailer for Tekken 7 was shown at SDCC this year and we have it here for you to see Well I guess Namco kept their promise of showing more of Tekken 7 at SDCC this year. Although I am pretty sure this was not what fans of the franchise were looking forward to when said promise was made. In fact, if I was as rabid of a fan for Tekken as I am for other franchises I would be a little put out and upset with such a tease. A new trailer out of SDCC for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham shows off the voice actors of the game If you didn't know by now, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is being slated as having the largest cast of characters from the DC Universe. A new trailer show a behind the scenes look and interviews with the original cast coming together for Alien Isolation's DLC If you had that wonder mentioned above for Alien Isolation then we can put that to rest for now. A new collectors for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Dark Edition It has been well reported that we will be able to trap villains and use them in the upcoming Skylanders Trap Team. This also includes the likes of Kaos, the main villain over the past few titles. This of course requiring a special add-on to the physical game in the form of keys which are purchased separately like all of the toys; this would include the special Kaos trap. That is if you don't purchase the new Skylanders Trap Team Dark Edition Starter Pack. A screenshot from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain looked real enough to be used for real news This news report has since been updated but it feels more like a PR spin than truly admitting that they screwed up and used an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to shock people into believing their propaganda or at least listen to what they were saying. "News" outlet RT and show SophieCo were recently covering a story on children soldiers and were speaking to a former child soldier when the camera panned by and showed a scene from the next Kojima game. Like I said, it has since been updated to state that they knew it was from a video game but I have a feeling that is just to save face as something like this could ruin what the discussion was actually about. A new trailer for Destiny has been released showing off some of the timed-exclusive DLC If you were curious on what came in the Vanguard Armory pre-order bonus for Destiny then you need not wait any longer. For all of you who don't have to wait until Fall of 2015 here is what you will be getting if you pre-ordered Destiny on the PS4 or PS3. A nice little tease for all of those not in that sub-group but at least you will now know why all the K/D ratios are skewed…well maybe. During the Bethesda conference at Quakecon there was an announcement of a third release date for The Evil Within Unlike what will happen when playing The Evil Within, calm down. This is not another piece of bad news for The Evil Within but it is a bit of good as it was let loose that the game is now coming out a week earlier now. That means that evil will be taking hold on October 14th now instead of the 21st. That is as long as Bethesda doesn't change their minds after what they claimed at Quakecon here recently. Read More...
