Well I guess Namco kept their promise of showing more of Tekken 7 at SDCC this year. Although I am pretty sure this was not what fans of the franchise were looking forward to when said promise was made. In fact, if I was as rabid of a fan for Tekken as I am for other franchises I would be a little put out and upset with such a tease. That is all because nothing more than a very small bit of Tekken 7's story has been released surrounded by the same visuals we already had.
You don't have to take my word for it if you don't want to as the extended Tekken 7 trailer is just below. Just be prepared to see nothing but pre-rendered animations and no real gameplay footage at all. At least we can assume no gameplay footage for now. Tekken 7 is using the Unreal Engine 4 so who knows at this point, right?
So there you have it. A little more into the world of Tekken 7 for us all. The trailer is about three times longer than what we have before but I still feel like I have nothing new from it all. In fact I had to double check that this was the extended Tekken 7 trailer when watching it because it felt that way to me. You would think there would be more now that the tease that this is "The conclusion to the Mishima Saga" wouldn't you? Maybe the best is yet to come.
I do wish I had more for you to see here but unfortunately this is all we have for Tekken 7 to date. We'll keep bringing you the updates and visuals as we get them but until then this is all you get. Sorry.
