Stormdivers A new title, Stormdivers, has been announced and there is very little to go on for Stormdivers outside of how the game may look at the end If you were a fan of Resogun and/or Matterfall, then get ready for Housemarque’s next title as they have announced Stormdivers. This is a new multiplayer-centric title that will be using the power of the Unreal Engine to bring us the gameplay and make the game look just as nice as we can imagine. I know that when I hear that, and given the current craze, it sounds like Stormdivers may be their attempt at a Battle Royale title. Given that they have been working on this title in secret for two years now, though, I am also on the fence of thinking that it is not and anything multiplayer now is just going to be lumped into the Battle Royale pool until we all see differently. Yea, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but Insomniac Games does have a few more of the villains of the game to look at. Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th. Street Fighter The next character to join the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition as DLC is Falke and you may recognize her from Street Fighter V proper The next character DLC for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is here to look at as Falke is coming to be a playable character after showing up in the core game originally. Maybe you remember her from Ed's story or maybe you do not. Defector A new VR game is coming, Defector, that will try and let you live out the secret agent lifestyle and try not to be a Defector Get ready to be able to live out some of those cray spy movie fantasies as a new VR title is coming to give you just that and it is called Defector. Probably not the best of names to go with for a title that aims to do the whole spy thing, but maybe Twisted Pixel has some great hidden gems in there to make sense of it all. They generally are good at that and maybe Defector does not point at the character we are playing and that of who were are hunting down or trying to find. Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Soulcalibur The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here to look at and it is another from SoulCalibur ’s past as Siegfried has now officially joined the roster One more of the alumni from the franchise's past is back for SoulCalibur VI now. Not a huge surprise as I am sure we will have more of the old characters mixed in with the few new ones that Bandai Namco will be working. In the end though, as long as we have a good roster with a lot of great fighters on it I do not think many will have an issue with SoulCalibur VI. Moreover, now that Siegfried has now been confirmed and ready to show what he will be bringing to the fight when the game launches later this year. Read More...

The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. Spider-Man A new interview for the upcoming Spider-Man title is out there and we get some further insight on just how Spider-Man’s web swinging will flow If for some reason you were worried about how the web swinging was going to work in Spider-Man or if it was going to be some weird thing that the team did not focus on, then you can place some of those concerns aside. I do not know who you would be out there as almost everyone has had strong faith in Insomniac Games doing right by the fans with the game; I just know you were out there. Nonetheless, we have a new look at just how this aspect of Spider-Man will work in the game and it definitely impresses as it looks to use more of the real-world physics to do just what we want. Assassin’s Creed We sit down and review Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered. A title that was lost in the sea of technology upgrades. Here is our review of Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered Sometimes games go missing through the cracks or just have poor timing when they release. These were a few of the reasons I heard and experienced on why gamers missed out on Assassin’s Creed Rogue way back when it launched. It was competing with another game that Ubisoft had also put out but during the age when we were all transitioning to the PS4 or Xbox One.
