by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Two more characters for Mortal Kombat 11 have been revealed with one being on the core roster and the other the first of the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters Just as we could all assume, we had a few more characters get the announcement out there for Mortal Kombat 11 fresh from the C2E2 event that has taken place. There was not hiding the fact that this was going to happen as NetherRealm Studios teased it and was heading to the event that was in their backyard. Now that it has all taken place and the dust has settled, we now know that Noob Saibot will officially be in Mortal Kombat 11. Read More...

Chernobylite Has A Gameplay Tease Just Before Things Kick Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Chernobylite The first gameplay for Chernobylite is here to get us all ready to help fund more of Chernobylite through an upcoming Kickstarter We had a few things for Chernobylite in the past and now is the time we have a small taste of gameplay just as GDC comes to a close. It also is here to mark the fact that The Farm 51 will be looking for some additional funds to get the game completed and out to us as they are getting the Kickstarter campaign wheels rolling. Thankfully, this will be to add in extra things for Chernobylite while offering up extras for soon-to-be fans and not something that will make or break the game at this point. That is still a bit off, so we cannot go too deep into what that will entail. Read More...

New DLC & Platform Is Coming For Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero A new bit of DLC is coming to Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden soon as Switch gamers will have a chance to take Mutant Year Zero on the go as well There has been a lot to come out of GDC this year and another cool announcement that came out is that Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden will be heading to the Nintendo Switch. All announced in one of the best ways by The Bearded Ladies as they point out just how they can export the game to the new platform from the Unreal engine and are doing just that. Of course, there is a bit more than just that but it is almost never presented in that way. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 11 Brings Another Kahn Forward With New Beta Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat We have a new look at Kotal Kahn for Mortal Kombat 11 with Jacqui in tow with some new details on the Mortal Kombat 11 closed beta The announcement that Kotal Kohn was coming to Mortal Kombat 11 given that he showed up in the story trailer and other views in the past. That is not the news here, though, as we have new gameplay from the game and NetherRealm Studios has shown him in action fighting Jacqui Briggs in the latest trailer for the game. Even though it is listed as his reveal trailer, it truly highlights the other character and level in Mortal Kombat 11 more than Kotal. Not that this is an issue at all. Read More...

System Shock 3 Has A New Tease Fresh From GDC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
System Shock Work is still underway for System Shock 3 and we have a nice new tease to take in for System Shock 3 right from the Game Developers Conference It has been a rocky start and continuation for System Shock 3, but that has not stopped Otherside Entertainment from working on a game they obviously love and want to get out to the public. That how all developers should be and even in the wave of ditching the publisher for the game, they are still making strides into getting it out there and pleasing all of the fans out there. This is made more evident by the latest teaser we have for System Shock 3 that was made part of the Unity Keynote during GDC this year. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/11/19 — 3/15/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and it is time to take a deserved break with more video games. This time in the way of actually getting to play them and not just write about them. Not that we did not like the fact that Ashes Of Oahu now has a set timeline to release or that The Division 2 had so many updates before we can play it now. I would rather just be playing that hearing all of the teases out there. Read More...

by Chris Avila [ Thursday, 14th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Halo The Halo: The Master Chief Collection is now announced and will bring the Halo further into the PC world with many of the titles built for the platform Because I am sure that there are some gamers out there who have yet to play Halo, it looks like the mass of the franchise will soon be available for the PC. Not that we have not been able to see a few titles out there from 343 Industries already, but now the majority of the franchise will be there in one nice big package. A packed titled, you guessed it most likely, the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Read More...

Go All Wild Up In Appalachia With The Latest Fallout 76 Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Fallout 76 The first of three major Fallout 76 updates is here and will be adding quite a bit to your Fallout 76 adventures The latest for Fallout 76 is here after a bit of a wait and it looks like it will be adding a whole lot into the game than some of us may have thought before. There have not been many changes from what was listed out by Bethesda when they made the announcement of the free DLC, but it looks like the words may not have done this update justice. At least based on this new trailer we have for Fallout 76 that highlights all of these changes and monsters we will see in the game now. More so when you see that the new underground areas will go a few more levels lower than just one or two and be more sprawling than some have seen in the past. Read More...

The Forgotten City Is Heading To The Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City The Forgotten City is no longer a PC only title, as it looks like Xbox fans will also be able to enjoy The Forgotten City this year If you felt like you were being left out of The Forgotten City's release, as it was only shown for PC back at E3, then you will be glad to know it is branching out to the Xbox One at the same time. That time is still late in this year, but Modern Storyteller is poised to bring the game to the platform as well now. Not the largest of surprises given that The Forgotten City is based on a mod for a massively popular title on the systems and many would like to have options when playing these things. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/4/19 — 3/8/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of March 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and all kinds of stuff was out there for our favorite video games. It felt like the same rollercoaster we have been used to as of late with the ups and downs and teases. Just like the new gameplay we had for Days Gone and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Also some new stuff for Mortal Kombat 11 and sadly a delay to The Sinking City. Read More...

The Sinking City Has A New Release Date To Look Forward To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The Sinking City The release date for The Sinking City has been pushed out to give us a new buffer for The Sinking City and other video games coming soon It looks like the release date for The Sinking City has been pushed out again and the wait continues. It is usually a horrible thing when something like this happens, at least for all of us gamers looking forward to the game, but it makes perfect sense for Frogwares to do. Not due to anything pointing to The Sinking City not being the game we have been expecting, but in line with the game getting lost in the mix of all of the other titles out there. That would be the reason we have been given for the delay for the most part. Read More...

Become The Superhero Of The Wasteland In RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of March 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
RAGE A new trailer for RAGE 2 is here to show off the weapons and superpowers we will get to use in the mix of RAGE 2’s chaos It looks like RAGE 2 is going to be shaking things up even further than before as now we have a look at the superpowers and abilities we will have in the game. This is something that Avalanche Studios has shown off a bit already, but have not fully detailed out completely. This new video for RAGE 2 does a bit of a better job at that, thankfully, and also digs into the weapons we will find and be able to use around the wastes. All so we can be the best superhero we can be in a world that needs more heroes. Read More...
