Cuphead A new Cuphead animated show is on its way to Netflix in the way of The Cuphead Show! using everything we loved about the game It feels like we are going back in time to a point where every video game needed a TV show tie-in as it looks like Cuphead will be getting the treatment now. Not exactly the title I am sure many of you were expecting to hear about, but it would seem that Studio MDHR selling over four million copies of the game would grab the eye of Netflix to try to set something up. On top of the classic animation style Cuphead already holds, I can see why they would want to snatch this one up and ride the success. Sky We have some new gameplay for Sky to look at and see how Sky will be the same but different from the dev's other titles out there It has been a bit since we all first heard about ThatGameCompany's upcoming title Sky or at least saw any gameplay for the iOS title. A few months at this point, but now we are back to see some new footage for the game as well as have some of the developer's commentary on just what is going on in the game. We already knew that there would be a social aspect to it all as well as the ability to fly around the world, but here we get to see just how some of that plays into the larger side of Sky at the end of the day. Sky The next title from ThatGameCompany has been announced, Sky, and it looks to do just what the title says by taking us on an adventure in the Sky It looks like the wait for whatever the next title ThatGameCompany is working is now over as we just had the announcement that it is a title named Sky. It is nice, simplistic, and looks to use the same gameplay modes that the developer has used for so long to make some amazing title. Secret World It looks like The Secret World is finally going to be a TV series as a show based on The Secret World and its rebranding has been announced It only took about a decade but it looks like what I was hoping for with The Secret World is finally happening as it is being picked up for its very own TV series. That's right, the dark and horror filled MMO from Funcom is finally getting expanded into a series that will delve deeper into the world and secrets hidden within it. Not that the game or its rebranding of Secret World Legends doesn't do a great job of it already, but it will be fun to see a bit more of it all expanded upon and from others points of view. A new behind the scenes look at Powers has been released to show us just why we need to be excited for the first PlayStation original show We only have a few more weeks now until Powers debuts on the PSN. All of you PS+ members around the world with your PS4s, PS3s, or access to the PlayStation website will be able to watch the first season starting on March 10th. The release date for the first three episodes of Powers, the first original live-action series for PSN, have been announced Powers was announced a back in June of last year at E3. Then we received a tease for it during the New York Comic Con. It was supposed to launch sometime during the Holidays of 2014 but as of the PlayStation Experience where Powers was a relative no show, pun intended, the PSN Live Action show had not been shown yet. In fact, it wasn't until I logged into PlayStation Plus later in that month to see that the release date for the show had been altered to sometime in 2015. The first trailer for Powers, the PSN TV adaption of the comic book, was shown at NYCC and we have it here for you Powers, the show, was announced at E3 during Sony's huge press event and it was received with mixed feelings from all. If you were lucky enough to be at NYCC over the weekend and were able to sit in on Sony's panel you may have been treated to seeing the first footage and trailer for the show. Recent reports say that the studio will be closing as a part of a restructuring that will result in 18,000 Xbox employees being laid off News surfaced today that Xbox Entertainment Studios, the new studio that was to produce several Xbox original TV shows, will be shutting down permanently. The company began in 2012 with the vision to create interactive television content for Xbox Live subscribers. The studio looked to solidify its domination of the home entertainment industry by having their own original programming that can be accessed just as easily as Netflix or Hulu through consumer's Xbox Ones. I take a look at the updated PlayStation Now Beta and here is what I think of its current state PlayStation Now was announced at the beginning of this year and was another huge focus at E3 a few weeks ago. Amazon Game Studios has put out a trailer showcasing some of the upcoming titles for the Kindle Fire and Fire TV. Here's a sneak peek. Amazon has revealed their new Fire TV today and with that Amazon Game Studios has put out a 'sneak peek' at the games that we will soon be able to play on those Kindle Fires and Fire TVs. These of course are in addition to the Sev Zero and Sev Zero: Air Support that are already part of the new set-top library.
